Good morning everyone
Hope you all enjoyed your weekends, even if the good intentions went out of the window for some of you!! I was very well behaved until last night, when I fell off the wagon and ate some chocolate brioche and some chocolate cereal bars!! For me I think it was because I was tired and bored.. not at all because I have zero willpower
Well done Annie, that really is fabulous!!
Tonight is my 1st weigh in so I'm hoping for a small loss in spite of last nights blow-out.
I've taken some prawns and salad for lunch at work, and a couple of peaches, things which I'm hoping won't add on too much actual weight before tonight.. does anybody else do this?? Or is it just me being silly? LOL0 -

... nope, I think the "don't eat dense food on weigh-in day" thing is pretty well across the board0 -
:j :j Well done annie :j :j ...
...and for those of you who fell off the wagonI was a goody goody, don't know why, just wasn't bothered about anything
hope it continues though

Suggs - I thought pepsi max was sugar free? Does that not mean that there's no calories in it?
It is, but I was showing I had two bars of choc to go with the two bars of pepso max
Im just annoyed at myself. probably didnt have the bet of Sundays with my kids and that always hurts.
Side issue I know, but I watched 'Supersize kids - under the knife' last night, I dont normally watch these programmes, and it was scary in one moment and impressive the next. Scary - The mum with a 6year old weighing in at 6stone, and claiming not to know how to improve her eating, she was happy to wait the year for an appointment with the dietictian! The 16 year old girl weighing in at nearly 24stone with a 21stone mother claiming she cant stop her eating, they both had gastric bypass surgery in Belgium as the NHS does not perform that operation on teenagers. Impressive, well in five months they had lost 5stone each. Also a 22year had a 'whole body lift' after losing losing 8stone in weight, she was 16stone stone at 16. She had no confidence left and no breasts either. ended up with private surgery £10K and more confience, last seen in a nightclub with a bottle of barcardi breezer in her hand. I joke not, and it was good to see.

Morning all, sorry to those who had a bad weekend.
Weighed yesterday and have to report a loss (after 2 weeks of gain!). I have now lost a grand total of 12 lbs since July and am down to the next stonage level (only just though but its a huge boost)
Just been back to the chart and worked it out - 2.5 lbs loss:D

Congratulations to newlywed and Annie, fantastic losses this week!!!:T
I'm another one who kicked the wagon well into touch this weekendhad a bottle of wine on Friday night (I did count the calories in it though, although it got more difficult the more of it I polished off
) and went to a BBQ at a friends yesterday and pigged out on kebabs and lots of salad mixed with full fat mayo.......along with too much gin and topped off with banoffee pie!!!!!!
Oh well, hopefully it'll be balanced out by the exercise, if not I'll just have to be back on the straight and narrow again! Might have to bin the gin thats left.............!!!!!!:D
JM xxProud to be dealing with my debts :T DFW Nerd: 2410 -
Looks like everyone had a mixed weekend. Weekends are probably the HARDEST time to be on a diet....it's the socialising i think that makes it so difficult.
I had lots of family round my house on Sunday and I made an impromptu buffet with hubby's fat laden sandwich filler and a pack of mini sausage rolls....even tho i'd made myself a 'diet' sandwich the laws of the buffet mean that you HAVE to sample one of everything (that includes the bakewell slices).... so not a great day for the diet and what's worse that it's made me feel all bloated and stodgy today- it's funny how when you start eating better food can really notice how much differently bad food makes you feel._pale_
Saturday we had a BBQ and I managed to stay within my calorie allowance!:T . My top tip for BBQs: 1 Tesco healthy living sausage (~68 cals), chargrilled onions from on a kebab stick, a small smothering of ketchup & mustard, wrapped in a slice of weightwatchers bread(~50 cals) makes a hot dog for <150 calories!!!
I find that even if you have low fat/cal varieties of meat products, the calories from burger buns and hot dogs buns are where they add up. I substituted a burger bun for two circles cut out of weight watchers bread (~75 calories- I cut about 1/4 of the bread per slice away). They were a little flimsy and DH laughed his head off at them- but it allowed me to have a meat free burger (200 cals) aswell.
Finish that off with a few veg kebabs with plenty of mushrooms and onions (relatively calorie-free) and I had a guilt-free BBQ:A I shudder at the amount of calories i USED to probably eat at a BBQ....:o
Another minor triumph this weekend is that I managed a trip to the pub and avoided alcohol!! ...who needs the buzz of alcohol when you have 4 black coffees :coffee: in a row...

Well done annie thats fantastic. Well I weighed this morning and I have lost 1/4lb god knows how. I'm guessing the million extra calories I ate over the weekend will catch up over the next few days. (Maybe if I run fast enough they won't be able to catch me).I'm fed up with counting everything I eat I think I'm just gonna try and be sensible about what I'm eating and see if that works.
Hugs to everyone else who fell off the wagon and well done to everyone whos lost.0 -
