I'm merrily eating what I believe to be free food (very low fat) and maybe it isn't. I guess there's a particualr % but I don't know what it is. I'm sure I should know. Hangs head in shame.
And has anyone ever calculated how many calories they eat on a SW plan? (Preferably a successful loser!) It can't truly be 5000 .... can it?
I consider less than 1% cottage cheese and 0% fat natural yoghurt as very low fat and therefore free food. This is what I use. ( as well as toffee muller lights as they've been declared free.)
I don't actually know any official stats and neither does my leader as someone asked her that last week.
Couldn't cal count to save my life.

I had a recipe for WW cottage pie (the one made with beef mince not lamb although I don't eat red meat so make mine with chicken!) Anyway............:rotfl: :rotfl: seem to have lost it and was going to cook it for tomorrow, it went along the lines of replacing the potato topping with swede and carrot instead to reduce points/calories, to make it more diet friendly, so lovely peeps has anyone got the recipe stored away somewhere or even knows what I mean?:rotfl: :rotfl:
It is basically a very low fat/low calorie/low points way of making a family favourite but lost recipe....help:j0 -
Morning all.
Hi katyk, hope you're coming to terms with things a little this morning xxxxxx :grouphug:0 -
Thanks Ajax - I think it will be a while until we stop expecting Shadow to jump up at the windowsill and demand to be let in, and his brother just seems to be wandering around a little lost. Think now I should have let Timmy see his body as at least he would have realised he was dead - you can explain to a child but not to another cat and he does seem to know something is wrong but not be sure what. Still, too late now - DH took him to the vet yesterday who will arrange cremation.
Next dilemma will be whether or not to get a young cat in his place in a while. DH has already intimated this to kids and I am not so sure. Partly because it is too soon, but more because Timmy is a large 5 1/2 year old tom who can be quite aggressive when it comes to seeing other cats off the premises. I presume he would be even more protective of the house and, much as I love Tim, I would be worried about the safety of a tiny kitten if I took one in. However, if I took a new cat I would want it to be a kitten as the main problem with the two we have was that we took them from a rescue centre at the age of about 5 months and we were their 3rd owners by then and they had had a pretty rough time of it (starting with being dumped and left to die as tiny kittens, then being found and handed in to CPL) so they took a very long time to trust us or show any affection, and the kids never really bonded as much as they would if they had a cats undying love from day one before he/she had learned to mistrust.
Any regular cat owners out there who could advise? Timmy and Shadow were our first two.
Thanks Katyk0
