This is probably very naughty as I stopped going to the meetings about a fortnight ago but my password lasted for ages and you can sometimes find the SW password online in other forums

    ;)

And that's a desperate trick with the hair :D

Off home now - have a good evening all.

....heya kpc. is your link friendly for computers in the workplace of a very PC organisation?

Just looked at it Ajax: it is very informative (and funny but factual) but if a bloke was caught looking at it at work it could only be contrued as ogling/dirty macking! :D . Suggest you wait til you get home where you can enjoy perving (quite legitimately in my opinion)

Can she not allow herself a bigger portion of cereal for breakfast? There's no way I'd eat only 30g of most cereals but I find that 50g keeps me going until lunch for an extra point/half point. Shreddies is usually a good option.

It sounds like you OH is used to SW portions all right. Serendis's suggestion of the soup sounds like a good idea until your OH gets accustomed to the portion control aspect of WW. It's a great way to fill in and I definitely WOULDN'T use stock cubes to make it. Try vegetable bouillion (still free I think) it gives soup a much better flavour.
I have found the best breakfast to keep you going is porridge - it really does fill you up and I believe is one of the slow release carbs. I make mine (40g dry)with water and add a tspn of honey and a slurp of SS milk - lovely. It's one of the RC breakfasts.

..... lol yes, very familiar. I had a dalliance with the gym for a while and used to say "alright" to the beefcakes in a very gruff voice when eye contact was made - at least two octaves lower than my normal voice. Gotta pretend to be comfortable :)

So thats you!! I wondered who the bloke was with the silly voice! lol Luckly my gym is nice and small and not many beefcakes, when the police used it the other week for training while on a course, I made of point of looking them in the eye :) Oddly enough they very very rarely would wipe down the equipment after using it, including the woman, it was driving me mad

I ache alot, the rugby was good, very physical, but in a good spirit, lost 19-24 no marks or buises to show off either :)

So what made me go to the gym today and instead of doing what I term a 'half session' same time but lower levels, I did almost the same session and still didnt get to go in the jacuzzi afterwards, too many people around, I still get embarassed around a pool :o

. Annie: very impressed with the cyclingexbike.gif . Hope you are rewarded soon with lost pounds. Just don’t use up the exercise value with extra food thinking you deserve the treat…

Thanks - I won't eat more though cos I'm doing it to speed up loss not enable me to eat more. Have done no exercise today except a 1/2 walk with dog and that is first time this week - is that OK? I've heard you should have a day off every week.
Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow but dreading it at same time - I usually lose around 3-5lbs on my first week of dieting but I have never done this much exercise before (just short of 46 miles walked or cycled (mostly cycled with constant puff and pant) this week)so will it initially have a slowing down effect on my weight?

I eat porridge too, though sometimes overdo it in the microwave, I dont weigh it either though :)

I make it with water, and it overdone, a splash of skimmed milk, no honey, cant get on with it, so sometimes a touch of sugar or have it just plain :)

If I really get the 'snack attacks' I have Honey nut cornflakes instead :)

I can't eat honey nut cornflakes as somehow the whole packet ends up in my bowl!! so now I don't buy them and I buy boring healthy cereals for kids too (which creates lots of moans at breakfast time) mind you have just found new reduced sugar frosties for son who only wants to eat toast in the morning and I don't think it is filling/healthy enough for a growing boy so we have continuous morning row. What does everyone else think? Am I silly to be making sure he eats cereal or should toast be allowed (I use Hovis best of both) he also is a little tubby and I am desperate to slowly get his weight down by encouraging him to make healthier choices. I do not want him to end up like me.

Oatsosimple original sachets, 92 calories per bag, put skimmed milk on it, the portion is already counted for you, for 2 mins 15 secs and there is breakfast done:D

Good luck with the weigh in. You've done brilliantly with the exercise. I have no idea if it will show up this week or next week: always shows the following week for me. So whatever the result, keep it up and don't be disheartened becasue i thas definitely got to count in the longer term. Look forward to hearing good new from you though. Yes I think you should give your body a break at least once a week.
As for cereals for your son: I personally don't rate them as at all healthy (except for porridge or a HM mueseli)or filling so don't touch them for breakfast. Wholemeal toast is excellent fibre but you are right, not enough fuel for a lad I would have thought. How about a couple of quorn sausages, or a quorn buger with a poached egg on top? Not cheap of course if money is tight. Or scrambled eggs or beans on the toast?

which freezer containers do you lot have and the cheapest to buy to start with, what sizes should I buy? They will be for the soups I make and the dinners. I just normally use bags.

I didn't want to waste money and had two bags of mixed salads in the fridge that expire today so put them in the freezer and now google tells me that they will come out brown, mushy, disgusting and I should not have bothered:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: can't justify throwing them away though:D
