  • morning all. Hope I didn't caus anyone to have nightmares by winding Ajax up and letting him go. I'm a bit worried that he might actually be my oh as he also pounced on 'rhubarb pink inner sanctum' immediately. However he is not doing ww so it must just be a coincidence.

I gave you a belated thanks for the tip on the dress BB - i've moved it to living room door so it shouldn't pick up too much fragrance but as it currently has a slight whiff of mothballs it wouldn't be too bad a thing. V irritated with work today as I'm having to abandon what I had to do to spend a day waiting around to do a 20 minute presentation to the board on a subject I don't know a whole lot about.

Lots of losers this week - well done all! Grannynise, can you go online to the hotels website and check out their menus? Then you can decide what you want to eat and have a broadly red or green day accordingly. I usually find it easier to have red days when staying away as you can pork out at breakfast time - i've never mastered the art of eating cereal and fruit when there's smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on offer. But remember, you're going away to enjoy youirself! Don't beat yourself up if food is part of that - just be good the week before and after and you'll be fine.

    Well done - you've achieved your target for [strike]August [/strike]September. :D

... don't remind me, I'm still uberannoyed at missing the August challenge.

Tiredy, another sweet SW green one for you.

    FREE Rice pudding

    1 pint cold water
    1/2 mug pudding rice
    Sweetener (adjust to taste)
    2 tbsp vanilla essence (optional)
'Free' vanilla flavour yogurt (200ml pot)

Put water into saucepan. Add the pudding rice and sweetener and cook for about 15/20 minutes. Remove from heat, add the vanilla essence and let cool down. When it's completely cool, stir in the yogurt

... :DBb, IIRC is short for what you wrote in the next line to tiredy.. "if I remember correctly". Sorry for the webspeak, I just thought we all did that :)

Do you know the SW choc mousse thing with fromage frais and highlights and something else? I was just asking you what the something else was.[/quote]

Ahh! Still learning the webspeak lingo Ajax. Will log that one in my growing list :D .
Have tried to find the choc mousse thing but it's not in the recipe archive on line. I don't like chocolate puddings or cake at all so have never taken in any of those recipes.

BB a 1lb gain is nothing, you can run that off in no time:D
:rotfl: :rotfl: Nice one victory: now this word 'run'...

Grannynise, just as i had shut down last night realised I hadn't congratulated you on a MASSIVE 5lbs loss. That's brilliant bounce.gif.

.... pack the fridge with veggie yogurts such as the Morrisons or Tesco ones we talked about. Make some chocolate mousse by combining some vff fromage frais and creme fraiche (IIRC? - Bbelle?) with a Cadbury's Highlights sachet for 2 syns per sachet. That's probably better as the kids won't beat you to those ingredients

    1 pot of quark
    1 vanilla muller
    1 options mint chocolate sachet
    1 tbsp sweetner

I've found this recipie to mousse making on another website sounds similar to your one ajax...not entirely sure what quark is though....

I think Quark is soft spreadable, cookable cheese that is less in calories than using the full fat double cream in recipes...
