Feisty everyone has weeks like those... just look back at the posts and see ... then next week or maybe even the week after you'll lose. Just stick with it, check all the things that other clever peeps have suggested, IT WILL WORK. Don't give up. You mustn't waste what you've achieved so far!

When the same thing happens to me, and it will, you can send me this post and say nyaaadeee, nyaadee, nyaaadee!
  • Hi Everyone

I just wanted to post quickly to add a 1pound loss this week, which brings my total weight lost to 9 pounds. Well done to all the losers and those who managed to maintain this week. Am hoping for something special next week, as am tired of losing 1 pound a week lol.

    All the best.
    Cheers

    .

:rotfl:I do do work Ajax ...my job is just a little too undefined for contemplation at the moment and relies on a lot of self-motivation (which for a born procrastinator is a severe draw-back) Plus I have constant internet access so it's dead easy to bring up an additional page for a quick search...the recipe finds are easy using this link:

I have decided that I really love this now as I have just lost another 2lb. !!! I feel like I am on a roll now and now that weight loss is actually happening I am really delighted. Thanks for the support and encouragement when nothing much was happening or I think I would have given up. I still have guests staying so can't get on line much but want to say congratulations to all the losers and maintainers. We are going out for a meal tonight but I have rung the restaurant to say two of us are on low fat diets so they can be prepared in advance for 'fussy eaters'

Edited to say I decided ,yesterday, to give up alcohol too. I may drink on holiday though, I will have to decide when I get there.

    Hi to everyone,

I successfully started to lose weight earlier this year by posting my weight every week. Unfortunately life got in the way etc and i stopped posting. Sad to say the weight is starting to go back on again so wondered if I could join 2lb weight loss club again.

Please would you put me down for a 3lb loss this week.

    Thanks,

    Jab

    I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your support it means a lot!

    Will keep you posted

    Feisty!

Yes, you will lose weight cos you have nearly joined Suggs on the tonne club (reserve a place for me there, btw) and he will be lonely there all by himself.

I find that sometimes my weigh-in is disappointing if I had a big meal the day (or even two days) before. Even if it was a low pointed meal, sometimes the bulk of it takes time to "come out" - if you know what I mean. Sorry to be a bit crude - but just think how much less you weigh after you have been to the loo for a pee and then think about the other kind of toilet use (!!!) Hoping to cheer you up (not gross you out) - not sure I am now. Point is, it is just a strange matabolism blip and you will surely get rid of it and more next week on your weigh in.

A pound a week is 3 stone and ten pounds in a year. That'd do me, it'd make a dent in the surplus even if it wasn't as much as I'd have liked. Maybe that would help you to feel more poitive, Caspar?:D
