Well, I need to report a 1lb gain this week. It's the first week since I started in May that 've not been completely focussed and it shows. But I'll get if off again by next week: back on track now
.
Only been awol since Sunday evening and about 10 pages of posts to catch up on so sorry for all those I will miss out on reponding to.lauranurse
Hi Katiepc; it was me that suggested hanging your dress by the fridge door! Hope it doesn't smell of curry and chips by the time you want to wear it :rotfl:
Ajax,I don’t understand this:
Make some chocolate mousse by combining some vff fromage frais and creme fraiche (IIRC? - Bbelle?) with a Cadbury's Highlights sachet for 2 syns per sachet. What's IIRC ? But definitelyon losing 6lbs.
Tiredeycustard: if I remember correctly, you have four young children,a job and two businesses to run and are about to move house. Hhmmmm, wonder why you are so tired??? Anything you can cut back on in your very busy life? (it’s too late to hand the kids back of course…:D ) Take this from one who learnt the hard way and paid a very high price for not listening to my body going "noooo, please stop". Ajax is also right of course re the extra weight having an effect and Petrichor about checking out your iron.
Petrichor, this is for you :grouphug: . And  for another fab pome.
Bet you felt great in your red dress Victory - belated happy birthday and welcome home.
Well done dragon and starlight on your losses and all other losers
Brighton belleI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

...Bb, IIRC is short for what you wrote in the next line to tiredy.. "if I remember correctly". Sorry for the webspeak, I just thought we all did that
Do you know the SW choc mousse thing with fromage frais and highlights and something else? I was just asking you what the something else was.0 -

Hi Guys. I'm due to start back at WW today and I am so nervous. Have been eating more since having Hayden 8 wks ago and i really need to stop picking. In last week i think I have put on quite a few lb's but will find out 10.30ish how bad it really is. At first I thought it was about 5lb to get back to top of healthy BMI range, however I now have a feeling it's more like 10lb. Anyway I will get the official WW weight later. Hope everyone else has a good day.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030

BB a 1lb gain is nothing, you can run that off in no time:D
well done kat 1.5 lb gone, brilliant;)
jen remember that WW is there to help you, not judge you and with their help and ours the weight will fall off faster than you can worry about it!!
Just been on the cook yourself thin website from last nights channel 4 programme and it is brilliant, I am def cooking low fat lemon and almond cake, hot and spicy chicken soup, pitta pizzas, they all come with a video and look fantastic and are a low fat, low sugar, low calorie, healthier way of cooking your favourite meals like the chicken tikka was 1524 calories and her version knocked off 1,000 calories to make it 524, brilliant it is!
I know it is pretty much what WW advocates, the same meals that you enjoy but use creme frais or 0% fat free greek yogurt, or substitute loads of potatoes for the veg but I like the new channel 4 show, it is a new fresh approach.
I made WW chilli con carne (with chicken as we do not eat red meat, we don't like it) and WW vegetable 0 points broth soup that I will have at lunch time, tastes lovely, my H loves chilli so he will like his dinner tonight not knowing that it is WW!!0 -
Not sure how to follow that little interlude guys!!:p
Just a wee bit disapointed this week that lost just 1/2 lb.
I agree with Victory beanielou try and visualise what you've lost...and keep faith it all adds up....
If I'm right half a pound is the same around the same as a small tin of baked beans!!
By the way has anyone googled 'fat replicas'....it looks disgusting...enough to pull me back on track anyroad....I'd set it as my desktop to put me off food but then my office would think that I'm stranger than I already am...0 -
