  • Hi there

I love the chat on here, but can't keep up with the rate of it... and not enough time to read all through.:A

I am back from 10 days in Cornwall... kept trying with the SW way, and only had one ice cream (usually would have had one a day!). Have missed my official weigh in, but my scales just now show I have lost another 3 1/2 lbs. :j Won't believe it until SW scales agree, ;) next meeting on Monday night, so fingers crossed.

    Crumbs!! September already!!!

...ajax Thanks for the info re the stoozing (was going to reply yesterday, got sidetracked, then brill tennis matches etc etc) It appears that DD stoozes to a limited extent but with bank accounts, just didn't realise that it had a name:o . I'm going to give the spread betting a good read through though, and then ask you lots of intelligent questions as necessary via your PM lair - make sure your box is empty! and make sure that I can see your hands :rotfl: - that jenni !!!!! sounds  but unfortunately she's not alone. I'm glad you sorted her out, there are some very sad cases on the DFW board that need help and nasties like her could send them over the edge...

Petrichor As for your 'senior' moments (known at my work as CRAFT moments - Can't Remember A Flippin Thing), try this one for size. I went ot take washing out of machine this evening only to find I had forgotten to put it in in the first place. Full 1 hour cycle of churning water and soapy bubbles and not so much as a pair of socks in there! Maybe i'm suffering from chocolate deprivation:rolleyes: .....Katyk
    ...

...Thanks katyk I love CRAFT that is so much better than senior moment but I can equal your washing thingy..... I needed to do a very hot cotton wash so decided to do it overnight on economy7. It went though the full cycle (about 2hrs) only for me to find that I'd left the wash ball of detergent on the top of the work surface  and had to do it all again :rotfl: ...

...Re the step count, I told you the other day about mine not clipping properly!!!!I thought it was only ajax that didn't read my posts!!! You can all stay behind after class and re read all the thread :rotfl: My steps for the last 2 days were 15,230 and 16,565, and they were pretty average days I think. MrP is on hols for the next 2 weeks so things will be a bit different, although I'm a creature of habit...

...6ffuj3l.jpgGettin me own back I hope you enjoy success with us here, I can't help you re the lager as I'm on the wagon :o sorry, but do you have any particular plan to follow or will it be just more exercise and healthy eating? Whatever it is, Good Luck!...

...Well done zulubabe :j :j what a fabulous result, keep it up :T ...and Pineapple_beach:j :j and after a hoilday too :T

...Happy Anniversary Grannynise You pip MrP and me by a few months, so obviously you were a child bride too ;) ...

...Be back later lovely Peeps (feeling quite upbeat and positive today, the gloom seems to be lifting at long last, but for how long?)...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Gosh bails if you can satisfy your craving for chocolate with one bar you're a star. :D Mind you, you didn't say how big the bar could be.;)

I can eat chocolate for hours and still want more. In fact some years ago in a previous attempt to release my inner [strike]sylph[/strike] less fat person I had hypnosis to put me off the dreaded stuff. :o I was very doubtful but thought it was worth a try. At the end of the first session it had worked, and it went on working for about 18 months. Couldn't even bear chocolate on my cappucino. Now I just find the only way is to not buy any ever at all.

I thought that too but last night being diabetic I had a hypo, a bad one and was wandering around the house desperate for choc to bring the sugars back up again and could not find a single drop:D panic set in and the more I looked and the longer it took the more trouble I was in, I ended up finding a very old drumstick and scoffing that:rotfl:

Recently I HAVE relented a bit and buy the half size milk chocolate digestive biscuits and have 2 no more as they are 85 calories per biscuit so 2 is enough and if I am having a choc moment 2 satifies that and I can add the calories to the day without causing too much damage.

Also no added sugar angel delight mousse in chocolate flavour or butterscotch are good choc craving curvers without the masses of calories or 3 small squares of dark 70% choc.

WW also do yogurts, mousses and desserts in choc that have few points and can be added in to a regular diet if it all gets too much...

I am making the 0 point WW minestrone soup today, went to Asda last night and got loads of salads, fruit, veg, all good healthy stuff just need to get back into it;)

    well done zulu

Also thanks for letting us know how well the hypnosis worked. Must admit I have been tempted in the past but always was put off by the expense and unsure if it would work at all.

Before you leap into hypnosis Katyk I should tell you that although it worked excellently for chocolate I tried a few years later to use it again but this time for eating healthily rather than targetting one 'food'. That didn't work at all. I wonder if hypnosis can only cope with quite simple messages like don't eat chocolate and not much more complex ideas, which eating healthily would be. Someone else I know went to a different hypnotist and was told to imagine all sorts of food being covered in $h!t. That worked TOO well and caused all sorts of problems. So be warned.

ExACTly Grannynise, lol :rotfl::rotfl:I'd make you sick if I told you how much I can get through when I put my mind to it :D

As for the hypnosis, I did this too :o Apparently I am fat because I don't think I deserve to be slim...

I usually make double and freeze little bagfuls. I roll my bases out really thin - I just prefer them that way. I use tomato paste mixed with a little water and then top with tomatoes, mushrooms, pineapple or whatever. Then a sprinkle of cheese ... yum!

 Please tiredycustard, at what point do you freeze the little bags full? (sounds like baa baa black sheep!) Without the liquid, or after the rising or what?

Have just remembered a SW thing ( you probably already know). You can freeze muller light yogurts then slightly defrost and pretend it's icecream. Would go down well after a pizza I think. Muller lights, when I went to SW, were syn free, are they still? (hoping desperately)

Think I've caught up now. Have massive brain fog today so will probably forget to say loads of things I want to...

Well done all the losers, great job! (Ajax, I love you being able to put on 6lb now without letting the side down:rotfl:)

    [Petrichor
, I'm sure Ajax has told you this already but just in case - the egg card you need for stoozing is on Quidco with £35 cashback. Sorry for non-WL chat!]

Welcome to the newbies too and to everyone celebrating a birthday this coming week - Lois, Ajax, Victory; anyone else? HAPPY BRITHDAY! Actually make that anyone who's got one this month...

Also, happy anniversary Grannynise! I don't think I'll ever make 34 years the rate I'm going!

Sorry peeps, can't even type today so giving up for now. Have a great day everyone xxx
