Hi peeps:D back in cold UK now after 6 weeks away, just dashed to boots for the weigh in, lost 4lb over there and then gained 3/4 kilo and lost 1/2 kilo so not sure how to do the maths but from leaving here to arriving back weigh the same bar .400 of a kilo but then lost 4lb over there, so am going to loose 3 or 4 lb and leave it like that:D chuffed to be back, talk later, unpacking at the mo;)
... so lost four lb then gained 1.65 lb then lost 1.1 lb. I'd call that a loss of 3.45 lb, 3.5 lb for cashYes my birthday is on Monday sep 3rd and I am def having KFC:D
.. that's at least 3 of us in a week then. And I'm last0 -

Having one bar will satisfy your craving and then you can carry on having a good day and week.
What do other peeps think? (please don't kick me out of here!:D)x
Gosh bails if you can satisfy your craving for chocolate with one bar you're a star.Mind you, you didn't say how big the bar could be.;)
I can eat chocolate for hours and still want more. In fact some years ago in a previous attempt to release my inner [STRIKE]sylph[/STRIKE] less fat person I had hypnosis to put me off the dreaded stuff.I was very doubtful but thought it was worth a try. At the end of the first session it had worked, and it went on working for about 18 months. Couldn't even bear chocolate on my cappucino. Now I just find the only way is to not buy any ever at all.

Evening folks - gosh ou lot can blether! I last posted 2 days ago and had to go all the way back to page 42 to find where to read from!:D
NOt sure where to start but here goes
Happy Birthday to Ajax (loved your mini targets - do you give yourself mini rewards too when you reach them?), BB (hope you are feeling much better now - those 21st's can really take it out of a girl:rolleyes: ) and Victory (welcome back to the thread).
Also welcome back Suggs and :T on losing all that weight again so quickly! That would have taken me ages!!!
Congratulations to Hollyh on SOTW and Skint_Cat on SOTC:beer:
and many thanks to Serendisglair for the link showing the SW recipes. Not actually on SW myself, just trying to eat more healthily and using recipes from SW, SS, RC and WW.:rotfl: Figure they all have to be a step up on pies and pizzas!:rotfl: If I can only find the disc I used I had quite a collection of RC recipes at one time - just kept copying new ones out of their mags etc and having all chicken based main meals or fruit based breakfasts in one place so to speak. Must try tidying house a bit more often.....
Petrichor I loved your poem - we obviously have our very own Pam Ayers on the forum.:p As for your 'senior' moments (known at my work as CRAFT moments - Can't Remember A Flippin Thing), try this one for size. I went ot take washing out of machine this evening only to find I had forgotten to put it in in the first place. Full 1 hour cycle of churning water and soapy bubbles and not so much as a pair of socks in there! Maybe i'm suffering from chocolate deprivation:rolleyes:
Delly, your Fluffy Ginger Pigdog is just beautiful but what a rotten name to give her!She is far too cute for words. :cheesy: Glad you are feeling a little brighter again. Just put it behind you - we all get 'down days' at times.
Bails - I have dropped you a PM (at least I think I have - very untechnical person I'm afraid) re Pigsback. Sure there are much quicker ways in but hope it helps anyway.
Grannynise - Happy Anniversary.:T 34 years is not bad at all - exactly double mine but we're getting there. My folks had their 55th this year so we have a lot to live up to! Also thanks for letting us know how well the hypnosis worked. Must admit I have been tempted in the past but always was put off by the expense and unsure if it would work at all.
To everyone else, well done those who have lost or maintained and chins up to anyone who has not. Nearly 5 whole weeks left of Sept challenge - we will ALL get there!:D
Other than that I am afraid I have to report 2 days with no steps officially recorded - day 1 because pedometer does not like one of my pairs of trousers and refused to register steps properly (does same with jeans - methinks denim waistband too thick. Works if I clip it to the wee change pocket on the jeans though) and day 2 (today)because I forgot to put it on in the morning:o I have claimed 10000 for each day though - but only because I am positive I did well over that. HONEST! I know walking to work totes up around 5500 alone and probably averaged around 12-13000 each day so only cheating myself if anything!
Keep it up everybody!

ARGHHHH! Just discovered why I couldn't find the pedometer this morning. Emptied the washing machine (actually put clothes in 2nd time round:o) and it was still attached to the trousers it doesn't like  . Will have to see how it survives tomorrows walks.
Right, I'm off to bed before i can do anything else stupid!
Can senility set in at 42?0 -

Katyk I found that my pedometer doesn't like the waistband of the trakkies I wear to walk Sasha (so I had to clip it onto my knickers) worked just as well though! -9400 steps yesterday and 11648 today.
gettin me own back to the thread. Sorry I've no idea about the larger...but glad we have another WW on here. We're a friendly bunch, so tell us all about yourself........
Didn't do too great at the party (I did eat some food) but not as bad as I would have been beforeand I brought myself back in line as soon as I got home - Now I just have to get over tomorrow's night in my brothers house (much eating and imbibing of intoxicating liquids) Think I might offer to drive as he lives 1/2 an hour away - My OH is loving me being on WW cos he gets to drink at all the parties!
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Happy Birthday to Ajax (loved your mini targets - do you give yourself mini rewards too when you reach them?)
....thanks katyk, but it's not for another 9 days yet - there's at least a couple more before mine - victory and Lois.
Nah, I won't be bothering with mini rewards as there tends to be a reward every week anyway in the shape of a weigh-in night take-away.
Well done delly on being brave enough to drive (if you go through with it). It takes a lot - I hate it when everyone around me is getting clattered and I'm there like a div with a lemonade or something. If you do manage to resist the temptation and drive then you can reward yourself with a cyberhuggle from me - but only if you drive
No idea about Fosters lager either GMOB, but don't most bottled beers come in at about 1.5 per 275ml or something? Something to work with at least. I'm more of a bitter man myself (as folk will tell you
)
