Forum has just changed (without warning) to the new design again... Anyone else? Is it permanent now or is this another accidental roll-out? The layout looks pretty odd in Firefox...

Just seen the announcement that it's been launched:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5224895
But I can't reply to that thread?? When I try it says it's closed. That thread states that existing members will see the old design unless they opt to the new one. That hasn't worked for me. I'm using Firefox and when I came back to the site (already logged in as I have my credentials remembered) I was presented with the new design, albeit with an option to click to switch back to the old design...0 -

Logged in. I have my credentials remembered. I was on the forums maybe 20 mins ago? Closed the tab. Just opened a new tab and came to the forums. I was already logged in (as usual). It loaded in the new format, albeit with a bar at the top giving me an option to switch back.
This is in Firefox, FYI.0 -

Is it a mistake or has it been rolled out on purpose?Spam Reporter Extraordinaire

Yep logged in and switched to the new site automatically. Had to choose to switch back so doesn't seem to be doing what your guide suggested it should be doing.0

I refreshed my tab and was instantly met with the new version. Switched back to the old version via the option at the top of the page, but now everything is much narrower (as narrow as the new version) and everything is squished up together.0

That was absolutely horrible, there was so much glare with all the white that my eyes have gone funny, thank god I found the switch back button!
