The switch back option in Andrea's post isn't working for me.
    Cannot reply in that thread.

Can anyone point me to where the User control panel is now? (in the hope there is a switch off option there?)

I am logged and can see the new version but I'm more than happy with it.

Its actually less white than before (a lot more light grey tones added from what I remember before) and less white than a lot of modern white websites. I'm sure that won't stop all the whinging and whining though, even with the 'Switch Back' link at the top!!

I refreshed my tab and was instantly met with the new version. Switched back to the old version via the option at the top of the page, but now everything is much narrower (as narrow as the new version) and everything is squished up together.

Same here. Thought it was my imagination but obviously not. About half of my page is now wasted grey space.

Come on MSE if you're going to let us choose to stay it needs to be what it was.

D'oh. I panicked and clicked to go back to the old design.

I need to get used to the new design at some point, so want to get it back, but no longer have the green bar with the option to switch. Ah well, old design for me for a while yet! :o
  • Just had it turn on me, luckily an option to revert to old at the top.

Horrible format, I am all for updating, but this is way too 'white' the eye wanders all around, and just appears 'lost'

much prefer the punchy look forums like the one above, as opposed to the wishy washy all white forums.

Oh no! I clicked the switch back link to see if it worked and now I can't back to the new design! How do I get back to the new one?

I had the same problem, but saw this link in Andrea's post:

Just wondering if there's an option to switch over to the new version from the old one? I'm not keen but willing to give it a try...

Edit - I see I'm not the only one! Cross posted :)
