OH bought his P60 home from work today and his company told him that they have paid him £500 too much and they will take it out of his next 4 months pay. Do I need to tell Tax Credits this when I get my renewal? Last year it was auto renewal not sure about this year as not had anything through yet.
Also do I need to tell tax credits if he has changed company (he works at the same place he has done for 18 years just this January part of the company was outsourced to another company and this is the company that now pay him). His job is exactly the same. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks in advance.

Any advice please? (Posted this on 1 May). ThanksSealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

You need to tell them if the employer changes.
Thanks for replying. Does it matter though that he is in the same job, same office etc just different company paying him now? The information I get from tax credits only ask for how many hours he works not who he works for.
The P60 figure is £500 over what he should have been paid and they are taking it out of his next few months pay does that make a difference to how much so instead of earning £29,700, he only really earnt £29,200.

The fact is he did receive that £500. When the tax credits are renewed next year his gross pay will be £500 lower. You can use that figure to update your 2015/16 expected income.0 -

If your income has or will vary it might make a difference, you could get a bit more or less than you would have otherwise.0 -

I was an automatic renewal last year, and this year have received paperwork to do a renewal online or by phone or by post. One thing that stuck out on my paperwork though - where all the 'colour' print is normally that tealy/blue colour, the one document had a big red line across it......seemed odd! I'm expecting to have queries raised, not that there should be any - but has anybody else noticed that on theirs? It just seems to stick out like a big 'alert'!0

mine does have red line too and im under investigation by Concentrix for child care. But not sure if anyone else has red line!
I was one that received it 20th April as well!
I did my renewal 27th April and have since been told mine is not finalised and was told 10 weeks.
Since I got letter then asking for all evidence!0 -
Does anyone know if I will get a renewal pack please? I used to get tax credits when my childcare bill was higher. My youngest moved to school nursery with the 15hrs entitlement in Jan 2014 at which time I called up and they stopped my tax credits. I had a renewal this time last year but my award was zero, for the full 2014-2015 tax year.
Does anyone know will my claim close or will I keep getting zero renewals?
ThanksBossymoo

It is that time of year again. Renewal packs will be sent out until the end of June. Last year was the first time that online renewals were used for a lot of claimants.
From the Gov website:
The 2015 renewal pack notes can be seen here

ho can you tell your code if pack hasnt come yet?0
