My cousin has an overpayment she thinks but she wondered how they eould take it. I wasn't sure how the decided what % to deduct such as 10,25 or 100%.

I call TC every day plus concentrix. I hate leaving things.
TC told me that my renewal is being checked but no details of compliance. Concentrix just want the nursery statements. I think I may send bank statements too with the withdrawals on.

I agree that these checks should take place but I just feel it could be done a lot better. Having 2 diff companies dealing with your claim is rather dilly in my eyes.

So was this after you did your renewal you had the letter ?

My renewal form was dated 19th April I renewed online 28th April. Which hasn't been done.
My investigation letter was dated 20th April.

Maybe I had already been picked for investigation before my renewal

What is the point in calling every day thereby causing someone else to be kept on hold?

What kinds of info do they want to prove your child is in higher education?

She's probably worried they will stop or cut payments like the threatening letter I got States if they don't have your info by a date. I've rang to be told even tho I have signature it's not showing yet on system as they behind. He told me to ring again a week later.

I already rang tax cred as I had payment April then had to ring about renewal then had to ring concentrix cause the letter on,y came last week and was dated April then rang to see if they got my info to be told to ring back in 7 days '

I work full time and have two kids it's all rather time consuming but worth it if it means I can sleep knowing they are dealing with my claim probably the same for thousands of people who are relying on tax credits

The information they have asked me for for further education is
Proof that my children have attended school/college from the 1st sept 2013 to now, with my son who left last year they want 1st September to August 31st 2014
The qualification that they are working towards/ achieved
What the course was called . Hope that helps

I called them to see how my renewal was going.

One hour waiting but good news.Mine was completed in six days and paperwork on the way.

I have two children in College but no request for information and also self employed and just under NMW but again no compliance check at this time.

Of course they might still want to check things at a later date but relieved for now my renewal was completed in six days :j:j

I call most days due to wanting to check that they are processing it and have all they need. As GG says, I want to be in the ball with it. It's a good job I am as each time I have called there has been an issue.

If you refer to one of my previous posts, you will see they had my chilcare down for £147 per week when it's only ever been £93 at the highest.

I called yesterday to ensure they had changed that information and then called the main TC line to ensure it too has that same information.

I don't just call to ask about the weather. I assure you, my phone calls take no longer than 5-7 minutes. I have seen they have signed for the documentation so I shall give them until next Friday and call back. I only have until the 12th and my baby is due to go for major surgery in 10 days so ideally I want it sorted for then. I won't be calling them whilst he is in hospital nor will I be home for mail.

Any one else still waiting for their Renewal Pack to come through?


Last year I had an extra payment the day after my May payment, this year not had any extra payment and not had my Renewal through yet. Am I right in thinking they will be sent out by June 5th.


Really want to know what my payments are going to be for the rest of the tax year.
