Just waiting for the solicitor details so we can go SSTC. Also had our offer accepted on the one we want to buy.

Lets hope it all goes well and we can move over to the waiting to exchange thread.

We are sold subject to contract!

Our buyer has provided all necessary details, our offer has been accepted on our onward purchase and I'm going to see my mortgage broker on Tuesday.

Time for us to move over to the waiting to exchange thread.

After going to fixed price had our first 3 viewers today, 2 first time buyers and a BTL person so I guess I will spend tomorrow staring at the phone....

I've sold, STC. Only a week on the market. 12 viewings. Cash buyer so no chain. Accepted 5k below asking price.

Another purchaser has since offered £10k above asking price, but they're not proceedable. They highlighted an issue I'd not thought of - they're from London and say properties often sell the first day they're on the market, so they were waiting until they found somewhere to buy before marketing their house.

Tomorrow I'm spending the day house hunting 250 miles from home (6am start!). Three on my shortlist so fingers crossed one of them is suitable (and 2 of the 3 have been on the market for over a year).

Then I'll move to the 'Waiting to Exchange' thread.

It's a rollercoaster of emotions!

I was so high yesterday after 3 viewings, 2 of which seemed REALLY positive and not a squeak from the agent today so far. I had really convinced myself 1 of them would offer but nothing yet.

Now I am so depressed.

Im joining beancounter been depressed! The house we put our house up for sale for has sold today!! feel like taking house off the market now.
