Amazing- congratulations! Glad to see people are moving in the right direction with viewings and offers!

I did my 1st viewing last night (EA has done the other 10) and she has called this morning to have a 2nd viewing on Monday and is bringing her parents. I hope this will be a step in the right direction for us after so many viewings!

Still waiting to hear from our viewer after his second viewing. I hate all this waiting! My estate agent is requesting feedback each day and he can do it online or over the phone, wish he'd just let us know either way after saying he wanted to buy it.

Disappointingly the house I was hoping to potentially buy has now gone STC :(

Toddler, that sounds promising - especially that she's rung to arrange a second viewing so soon too!

PurplePow, hope you hear something soon. The not knowing makes it even worse doesn't it and that's also been our next biggest worry after selling our place - finding the right house to move to. Like you, we've had our eye on a couple of really nice ones only to see a little 'Sold STC' pop up on Right Move. Gutting :(

Another offer just below our minimum. EA has suggested we 'show our cards' of our minimum (2k away). Nothing from other couple and viewer this morning was a 'no show' (although booking was never confirmed). Reviewing the price of another house that went recently through the same EA, its probably about right.

...and now I cant reach the wife to discuss EA's plan! ARGH.

Other couple called, told about negotiations and are 'still reviewing finances but are interested'. I don't hold out much hope for them so are proceeding to show our cards with the other couple.

Shame as they are going to get a bit of a bargain really considering the work we have done but hey ho - needs must and it puts us into a position where we can move on...assuming they accept!

Still no viewers for us so after speaking to the agent we've dropped the price again.

Hopefully it will get people through the door.

We have had no viewers at all yet and house has been up for sale since October.

DH has been undergoing radiotherapy and chemo over Autumn and in recovery since so we were quite glad that there was no interest.

DH passed away last Friday so DDs are going to arrange a house clearing and cleaning session and maybe an "Open house" once the funeral is over.

The plan was for us (me and DH and maybe a DD) to downsize to a bungalow which would be easier to manage and cheaper in terms of bills, council tax etc.

I have not seem anywhere I love yet so there is no great rush but it would be good to be settled in a new place before winter.

Unfortunately a lot of new build properties have just come on the market on the outskirts of the town which look comparable in terms of bedrooms and price and although our rooms are bigger as is garden etc it is not obvious without viewing.
