Has anyone with an Iphone tried it out?
    nope but,
The power bar includes a micro USB lead, which is used to charge the bar but also to charge the phone from the bar. However while this should work for the majority of phones, if you have an iPhone you will have to use your own iPhone charger cable to connect to the power bar.

I got a reply which states:
"Sorry, we can't recognise your landline. Can you resend JOIN & your landline number to 60005? Thanks."

Needless to say, I am 100% sure I am an EE home broadband customer.
I am also 100% certain that I entered my home phone number correctly.

    Grrr.

    SC.

EDIT: Local store out of stock until next week anyway.

Texted JOIN to 60005 at 0850 this morning, just received this message at 1351, (5 hours later)

“You’re registered for EE Power! Now text POWER to 60005 to get your Power Bar code (text costs 35p). Customer care& T&Cs at ee,co.uk/eepower.”

    From: 60005
    Subject:Free MSG
    Receive: THU 1:51 pm
    16-APR-15

No charge as of yet for the first text, but am wondering if it is worthwhile bothering as it appears not to be free, but a loan for 18 months.

Reason I texted JOIN was because I don’t have registered mobile with EE, but have home BB.

On my PAYG sim I had 52p credit so I thought I'd give it a go. I sent one request at about 9 am and heard nothing. I send another at noon and got a response saying that I didn't have enough credit to get a message, followed by another that said I could only have one code and use the one I already had. They then repeated the code. Just been for a stroll and picked device up.

I've got mine but unless you have a Samsung you have to find your own cable as it doesn't fit in an iphone
