Since sending 2 texts, I got a reply saying they did not recognise my landline number so would I telephone them, which I did. I was advised to resend the texts without a space. I did this and received 2 further replies that they still didn't recognise the landline (which is farcical). It just sounds like a scam to get us to send more texts which are all costing us. When will EE ever get their act together??? They did a similar thing with the free Amazon voucher which carried on for aeons. I am also having the same trouble trying to get the code for the £1 Wuaki.tv films. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE WHO GETS A SIMILAR MESSAGE IS DON'T TAKE IT ANY FURTHER - IT IS A SCAM!!! END OF.

What makes this such a good deal if it is going to cost £5.35 at least!

Because it won't necessarily cost £5.35. It can be just 35p.

My first text at 09.10 never returned a code. Visited store at lunch time and advised to text again "because it's only the reply text that is charged - the outward text is free". Not sure that's what I'd assumed. Texted again and got a code about an hour later. Popped in to the shop and the queue was horrendous at around 2pm so left. Just popped in again at 4.30pm (fifth trip there today!) and they're sold out!!! *sigh*

Got one at lunch time now home and tried it. So pluged it into phone and it charged for about 10 seconds then went off! Now have the thing pluged in to see if it needs charging before it will charge my phone! ✨

That's normal. Batteries shouldn't be stored for long periods at full charge so new devices always come with about 20% charge on them

    Got to Brent Cross 17:00.

    Queue was about four people.

Person in front of me got THREE!

Battery was empty, so it's on charger.

As it turns out, the micro USB is the same as my Lenovo lead, so using the white lead I use for the tablet and the phone.

    It's a torch as well!

Once the free Huawei tablet turns up, I'll have a pretty full complement of EE toys. Any free T-shirts going for free?
