I got my code today will be going to the store at lunch time :)
What happens if you push this button?
  • As an EE Broadband customer I have attempted to take up the offer and have followed their instructions, "Broadband customers must text JOIN plus your EE landline number to 60005 and follow the instructions provide."

The returned text reads, "Sorry, we cannot recognise your landline. Can you resend JOIN & your landline number to 60005?........ Or call us:08000798586. Thanks."

After eventually getting through to customer services I was told my landline number had to be registered and I would get a text message through, which could take up to 7 days, confirming my registration and then I would have to send my text to 60005 again and I should then get the code.

I hope that the offer is still open and they have some free chargers left when I can eventually text 60005..........

I can't believe people are actually bidding on these on Ebay. Some Buy It Now listings at £20 and Bidding up to £12. Do these bidder not realise its "free". It would cost less to both buy a non- EE Power Bar and Get a PAYG Sim yourself. !!!!!!??!

But this is giving me ideas. I was going to pass on this due to the £5 (very good chance I will lose it... I know me) but maybe I'll just get one to sell.

EDIT: Someone is actually offering a delivery service on these for people that can't get to an EE store.

Just went to claim my power bar and people were queueing down the street !

There was a guy with a clipboard at the front of the queue who was taking names and asking you to come back in 2 hours !!

Don't think I'll bother claiming it even though I've spent 70p in texts trying to claim my "free" power bar.

I've now tried to text Power to 365 twice. It's not working and I get a reply saying unable to send after multiple attempts.

Sure this is supposed to work for PAYG customers???
