I've now tried to text Power to 365 twice. It's not working and I get a reply saying unable to send after multiple attempts.
Sure this is supposed to work for PAYG customers???
Same here, tried a couple of times to send it to '60005' but I get 'Message not sent. Touch to retry.'
I am on contract and have reception (as sent another text as a check).
Have no idea why this may happen. Anybody else?0 -
Their website says 'never-ending power'. So EE's definition of never-ending is 18 months?
I don't need a charger as I keep my phone charged but my husband's often ends up dead. So we texted for codes yesterday so he could use both chargers. Then MSE's update mentioned 18 months hire so we're not going to bother. Just as he forgets to charge his phone and forgets where he's left it in the house, he's more likely to lose the charger.
We'll change our mind if EE change their Ts & Cs and let us keep them. 70p is enough to lose without them possibly charging £20 when we lose a charger.0 -
There was no queue in my local EE shop while passing at lunchtime so I popped in. They are out of stock until early next week. Hardly the best way to run a promotion. Surely they should have envisioned demand?0

As far as i got told by staff that only 10 million were ordered from China.
And i think Thats the reason why they cost £0.35 each.
But EE claims they have 27 million customers.
so 10 milion for 27 milion customers. something not rightWhat happens if you push this button?0 -

Sounds about right to me. I can't imagine much more than 30% of all customers taking up the offer even if they ordered 20 million.0 -
Had no problem getting mine. Sent text got a text back went to shop after work and picked it up. Only picked it up that day cos was getting stuff from Boots and the EE shop is opposite!Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

I have tried it. It took about three hours to charge up from empty.
Hooked up the fully charged Power Bar to a nearly depleted tablet, and it goes from 4 lights to 1 in two and half hours. So it works, but it's not as convenient as you might wish.0 -
Was told by t mobile I wasn't eligible for free charger. Despite ee website says otherwise. I have had a t mobile account for 8 years. I am not happy. Talk about false advertising.0

If you can text the number and get a code then you can have one, even if you are on an orange or t-mobile plan.0
