  • I'm off to pick up my free power bar. I sent a text at 00.15 this morning and received a reply almost straight away saying that it didn't start until the 16th (EE land must be a bit behind Greenwich Mean Time), but that I wouldn't be charged for the text. I sent another at 10:18 this morning and received my code 27 minutes later. While I already have a power bank I'm getting this one for the convenience of being able to exchange it for a fully charged one in a EE store if it runs out.
  • Still waiting for my text, I text at about 9am this morning!!!
  • I didn't receive a code until I sent a text in capitals. Didn't get charged until I received the code

My wife has an ancient Nokia 3210 that she still uses on occasion and gets on average a 20p per month bill from Orange

Is this going to allow her to obtain a free charger ?
To start with - it I not a smart phone - so simple txts only
Then there's the plug that the phone charges through
We might just try this - out of interest.....

Shame the solution to phones that don't last a day is more options to recharge, not work to make the existing battery last longer. I've gone back to a Nokia bar phone and get more than 5 days out of it.

I have a quad core Android 5" screen phone that lasts 5+ days on standby as well. 2,000mAh battery.

People run out of juice because they are playing video games and streaming One Direction.

I wonder if there is a mobile addict detox centre where you can be kidnapped and dumped in.
  • texted twice now for power bar & still had nothing back
