can someone please help me as I entered the similar deal with e2save with o2 mobile and not received £111/- cash back and when I call them they keep saying that the chq has been raised- i still havent received and cannot afford to keep ring their 0870 number which I am asked to do0
-
Further to comments about phoning 0871 numbers, in the past I found phoning the freephone sales number 0800 049 6496 and selecting option 2, got me to the same point as the 0871 number.
By the way, my own experience of e2save means I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!0 -

However, I have just signed up for O2 12 months (pay for only one month, eleven months free) which is done through a cash-back scheme. Thought I had read everything thoroughly and understood. However, my initial caution has now returned, having read all the messages posted on your site. Thanks to all for the warnings and solutions. I will get in touch with E2 to see exactly which bill they will be requiring from me ............... However, if Eleanor can check on my behalf, it may well save some initial hassle for both parties! I signed up on 7 August 2007 - my deal included a phone (LG Chocolate (yum!) 12 month contract, 11 months free - coming to £3 a month. Also .... do I have to pay VAT?:o

I'm still here and have been responding by private message to any individual who has had issues with redemption on the Virgin 6 months SIM only deal.0

I had same problem as everyone else. Spoke to someone one the o845 number on the rejection letter and was told that they had had problems but accepted validity of my claim. I would be given refund within 21 days if I forwarded further copy of the bill. I did this by email and got a reply saying it would take 3 or 4 working days to reply. They are clearly playing for time. As a lawyer can't see how any court would accept that the 3rd monthly bill, could mean the 2nd bill received in the 3rd month of the contract, because even if the wording is ambiguous the court would interpret it in favour of the consumer and against the seller who drafted the wording.
I assume that we'll eventually get paid, but if they want people to accept any of the offers on the website, they had better ensure that the instructions are transparent. I also hope that they will clarify in writing on the website what is to be done about the "6th monthly bill". Are we to send in the bill received in early September? Unless advised otherwise I shall do this just in case they try it on again! A clear statement from E2save would be appreciated.0 -

I'm in the same boat as well. Took out the contract in late april, sent july's bill and got declined as expired! Can't say i was suprised though.
