Was never confusing to me; I always knew from the start which bill to send in. I also can prove what I do send. They do answer eventually - though I suspect the waiting times are about to go through the roof. They are now saying, however, that they need page 4 - never required before because the previously processing centre were doing it wrong. I pointed out the requirement is for the top 2 sheets; they reckon that means page 4. However, since pages 1-4 are back to back they would have trouble arguing in court that page 4 was required in any way - since the top two pages are 1 and 2 and the top two sheets are pages 1 and 3. Since they accepted the top two pages (1 and 2) previously they ain't got much chance arguing this in court IF that's the reason in this case and you do take them there.0

Hi mobilejunkie. Out of curiosity, how can you prove what you send? I always send my entire bill (all pages) using Special delivery. But I guess that if they are really starting to pretend there are some pages missing, I cannot really prove I did, short of sealing the envelope in front of a lawyer?0 -
Actually for me it's been more of an issue with another dealer. With them I copy each page with the recorded delivery slip (completed) and envelope next to it (helps if you have an A3 photocopier). I also staple everything together and then spread the papers out in such a way that they all show AND that they are stapled (again with slip and envelope). I also spread all the pages/forms etc. out and take a picture on my mobile (with date). I also have someone to verify what went in the envelope. As far as cpw is concerned, until recently I didn't bother with any of this (or recorded) since I sent as soon as the bills arrived and knew pretty quickly that it had been received - if it hadn't I could always re-send in plenty of time. Things are rather different now though! Should it come to a court hearing it is civil and not criminal law. The judge therefore decides on probabilities rather than absolute proven "fact". I am sure I would be able to convince a judge that I am extremely organised, experienced and competent and what I say I sent, I did! Further, the actions and reasonableness of the opposition counts - doubt I'd have too much trouble there either! Lol!
I made quite a few points which should hopefully help many people (given all the completely avoidable mistakes I constantly read about on these threads!) in my thread:- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=558661
I strongly recommend anyone thinking of any cashback deal to read it. If they find it a waste of time (which I don't think they would) all they've lost is a little time (nothing comared with the time they should be investing beforehand in any case. If they find it useful and thought-provoking it could just save them an awful lot of money. Either way, I hope it's somewhat entertaining in its own way!0 -
I got my cashback after a few phone calls. They admitted it was some mistake by virgin. However why did it take a phone call when I'd sent in everything. Very poor.0

OK GUYS A REMINDER... IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR VIRGIN DEAL RUNNING MORE THAN 6 MONTHS (the free period) YOU SHOULD BE CALLING THEM UP AND CANCELLING NOW...

Just spoke 26 Sep to e-save (Hazel) on 0845 655 1246 as my July bill claim for 27 April start date not yet received. Told me I was late, but agreed with me that July was 3rd bill and that I would get my £45 cheque. When quizzed on next bill required agreed that it should be October. Gave me a new address for redemptions;

right guys, I sent my Sept bill off last Thursday, got the confirmation of receipt text on Saturday morning, and I've just received a text confirming that’s it's been approved and will get it within 30 days.:j
Sopeople, don't give up.
I'm actually thinking of taking this offer up again from the cpw.
I also managed to get my 50 quidco payment too:beer:

I thought they stopped sending confirmation texts? On their website forum, they even say :"The cashback team are no longer sending texts to confirm receipt of claims. Claims currently are taking 45 days to process. ". I wonder if I should worry now. Have sent mine (to the PO Box 462, Crewe, CW1 9DY address) 2 weeks ago, but haven't received any texts. Have the proof of delivery from Royal Mail though.0
