    Chorlie and kpmiyapuram,

as espresso said, I think e2save people have not been answering these forums for quite a while now. same happened in their own forum: last post dated 14th August.
  • Hi,

I took the contract in April last week and my online account says to send in the June bill as the third bill. Today when i called up the e2save, they say that i should have sent in the July bill. The claim has been rejected because i sent in an early bill and that the claim to send in the july bill has been expired. Any ideas on how do i take up this matter. Thanks

I sent in the front page of all my bills. Thought I'd let them sort it out. Cheque arrived within 48 hours. (Today).

I got a text on 20/7/07 confirming receipt of my Chequeback claim but nothing since, and finding like many others that they are difficult, if not impossible, to contact. I am a low user of my mobile phone and took this contract out because it seemed a good offer. After the six months are up I'm going back to pay-as-you-go, a disappointed but wiser person.

SO much I could write about all this. They are in a complete mess and you really need to know what you're doing and cover yourselves now if you want to get your cashbacks. It would take a book to explain it all (sorry). They no longer send texts, have changed their cashback address, pay lip service to "price match" t&c and now appear to be changing their previous interpretation of "month" for claims - probably due to trying to squeeze extra money by letting the man in charge at Onestopphoneshop inferior subsidiary) take over at E2Save and then merge Onestop into it. Complicated and not helpful, but beware!
  • Hi,

If anyone is still having problems with the Virgin 6 month deal please can you PM me with details. Please only PM if you're having difficulties with the original cashback deal which was in Martin's Money Tips. Thanks.

Whilst appreciating that you are going to take up any problems direct with e2save by getting anyone experiencing problems to send you a pm does mean that others don't see the problems continue to happen when dealing with e2save.

Maybe people having problems could still post them here as well as sending in a pm?

Have you spoken with Virgin to ask them. Your cashback deal with E2Save is different than your deal with Virgin. Ask them how much notice do you have to give to end the contract. Normally their customer service is a lot better than the phone sellers.

Virgin seem cool about giving them notice.

They told me to do it by phone to them anytime during the final monthof the contract. (The 30 days notice didn't seem too important).

Does anyone know if we have to send in the Sept. or Oct bill (if bought end of April).

Or is it better to send Sept. Bill and if you hear nothing send the Oct Bill?

Also called the Helpdesk No. 0871-222 5522 (01509-610888) since I was home early, and a message state all Cash Back calls will be terminated and to call 0845-6551246 which I did and its been engaged for the last 15mins (and ring back doesn't work).

Well had the afternoon of work so tried calling several times the 0845-6551246 number and everytime its engaged, but found on the www.saynoto0870.com web site 01270-504440 number for the Cash Back Team, after a few mins wait got through to a helpful chap called Oliver who advise my claim was rejected in error and he will sort it today and I should get my Cheque within 28 days. He also advised its the October Bill that will need to be sent in next time, (but I still might send a copy of the Sept. Bill just to cover myself).
