I would just like to add that I too am in the same situation. I orderd my sim the end of April. First bill came at the beginning of May, second in June and the third in July.. Obviously this July bill was the one I was waiting for to send in for my cashback claim. However just before I sent it I found out that I had been misled and that they in fact considered the June bill to be the third. This is totally outrageous! I sent them both the June and July bills (photocopies) in by recorded delivery with a covering letter explaining to them how confusing the system was and asked them to accept whichever bill was needed. I got text messages (2 - probably as I had sent in 2 bills) informing me they had received my claim but as yet I have heard no more. From reading the above posts, I am forever hopeful that I (and everyone else in the same boat) will get their cashback deservedly so.
Also I do not wish to ring an 0871 number to sort this problem out so is there any other means of doing this?
I would appreciate it if an e2Save representative could contact me via private message regarding my situation. Thankyou

    Hello all...

I just phoned e2Save on 0845 655 1246 as its been over 3 weeks now since I received my text messages confirming receipt of my bill(s). I was told that it hasb taken a long time as I caused confusion by sending in both bills!! Grrr. However the lady did check it out for me and said that it WAS the JULY bill they required and that I will be receiving my cashback within 14 days from now.
I also asked which is the 6th month bill. She said I need to send in my October bill. I hope this is correct.
What has anyone else (who received their sim at the end of April) been told is the 6th bill?
Will let you know when I recieve my first cashback. But for anyone still worrying - ring them! Its probably worth it.

Having skimmed this long thread it looks to me like the best option is to save every single bill you ever get, photocopy them, then send the entire lot of originals at the time specified? Then they can't use interpretation of what actually constitutes your "third bill" or "Octember bill" to avoid paying out.

Not true. Because they put a 30-day limit from the bill date to submit the claim you're screwed if you don't get it right.
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

Just found this thread after not receiving my Cheque.

I ordered the Sim on 25/04/07

Got my first Bill dated 08/05/07 (£10.48)

Got my second Bill dated 08/06/07

And got the third Bill dated 08/07/07 sent copies of my third bill the day it was received with the claim form by Recorded mail.

I had a text on 20/07/2007 stating they had recieved my claim and will contact me within 21 days.

To date I've heard nothing more, No more Texts have been receive and I've not received a Rejection Claim Letter.

I thought they might want my 3rd complete Bill so was about to send my Bill dated 08/08/2007, but thought I'd check on Money Save to see if other had received there cash back and found this thread.

    So I'm posting....

Its states 'Send your 3rd & 6th Bill', it doesn't say said the Bill from 3 months after your order & 6 months after....

I'll await someone from E2Save to contact me with a full explaination

    Thanks.
  • I sent a letter enclosing my 3rd airtime bill as well as the cashback form on 21st July (recorded delivery) and referring specifically to this website recommendation about the offer. I got a text acknowledgement on 25th July saying "...we will text you to confirm approval within 21 days". That looked encouraging.
On 18th August I received a letter dated 14th August that seems to just reiterate all the items they need for me to make a claim, all of which has been sent to them.
Trying to get through to them on their Cashback Team phone is horrendous

I want to receive my £45 cheque back ASAP and to be told definately which bill thye want for my next cashback claim

I too entered into this 6 month Virgin SIM offer. In fact my wife and I took one each. I ordered them both on 29 April, both arrived.

I sent 3rd bill (dated 02 July) recorded delivery for both phones on 10 July and received a text confirming receipt of each. I recieved a text saying my CashBack had been successful and would receive cheque within 30 days. My wife got letter dated 25 July saying that her CashBack claim had been rejected as it was received too late.

She contacted CashBack helpline (15 min wait) and spoke to an advisor who said "there appeared to have been a mistake, send another copy of the bill directly to me and I will sort it". Another copy was sent recorded del 30 July.

    Still no word.

I can't help thinking that, Martin recommended this offer and now that it is proving to be a problematic he should put his weight behind sorting it out.

It appears that the e2save rep is not having much effect.

    UPDATE!!
    My cheque arrived last week
    Wifes cheque arrived today :D
  • I sent in my 3rd bill as requested by the contract i then reiceved a text telling me that they had reieved my cashback items and i would have notice in 21 days. Today i recieved a letter from esave to let me know that i would not be getting my cash back because what i sent them didn't have my name, address, mobile number and tarriff which it did. This has been one big con i'm really disapionted was thinking about taking another contract out with them but now i would rather just go back to PAYG you get less hassel.

Maybe a group of people should take these scamsters to court.

e2save are obviously committing a fraud by asking you to send in certain bills, then after you send them in fail to pay by saying it should have been different bills.

A very shady underhand deceitful scamming practice.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

  • They may have been contacting people but it seems they are not doing that now.

Is there anything Martin can do? I am not able to keep chasing them to get through on the phone

Can you arrange with 2save an email address that e2save will respond to.

Failing that does anyone know definately which bill they mean by the 6 one- and who knows we may get the 6 month cash back - yes a pig was flying by!

    Thanks

Jeez, you only stated your problem on friday @ 5.37pm, today is the 1st working day since then, so you've given them an hour before summoning Martin to do something about it. :)
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.
