I contacted Virgin by email regarding this. They have agreed to take my email as notice but will not disconnect until the six months is up. They have also agreed to change my sim into a pay as you go. So all done in advance and plenty of time.0 -

I had a priavate message this afternoon from Eleanor saying that my payment had been processed I will receive a cheque within 28 days. I'll keep you all posted.
I received my cashback cheque this morning.
The question is now which bill do we send in for the next one?? I think I'll send the September one!0 -
Hi, I sent the June bill (taken contract in April end) but no signs of my cheque arriving. There was a text message acknowledging receipt of my claim and that they would get back to me in 21 days. Buts its a lot more wait. Any idea how long the cheque takes to arrive? Thanks0

Result!
After eventually getting to talk to someone on their premium rate number they said I would get my cashback - and I did yesterday! However, when I asked what bill I needed to send in for the second cashback I was told the October bill but I believe it should be the September bill - a deliberate ploy to avoid paying the second cashback ... who knows.
I do believe that if this hadn't been taken up by Martin we wouldn't be getting our money back so in future cashback will not be one of the options that I will consider when buying a phone.0 -
Finally got my money after a few messages from Eleanor, hope everyone else is successfulOld Faithful we roam the range together,

When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
I too have had my claim rejected. They state that the airtime bill did not include all the info requested. I followed the instruction to the letter and sent in a copy of the top 2 sheets for the appropriate bills as requested and included the cheque back voucher, a covering letter, and a SAE.
I also had the sim in April.
I was considering taking out another contract but it leaves a b ad taste in your mouth when they are not honouring their side of the deal.0 -
just to follow up, i had a 12 month virgin contract that had similar terms and required my 6th month bill (which in my case was the 5th physical bill) sent and received both received and acceptance of cashback texts so thanks to this thread I sent the right bill. I'd recommend relooking at the cashback table that came with your phone to make sure your 2nd claim goes at the right time.ummm...0

I sent a letter enclosing my 3rd airtime bill as well as the cashback form on 21st July (recorded delivery) and referring specifically to this website recommendation about the offer. I got a text acknowledgement on 25th July saying "...we will text you to confirm approval within 21 days". That looked encouraging.
On 18th August I received a letter dated 14th August that seems to just reiterate all the items they need for me to make a claim, all of which has been sent to them.
Trying to get through to them on their Cashback Team phone is horrendous.
Any help that you can provide in getting them to find the paperwork I sent them and then to contact me about my cashback would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I sent in my 3rd bill and have had the claim rejected. I tried to phone the number, you give but got the message "we cannot take your call at this time". I think you are trying to get out of honouring the agreement.E2save_Customer_Service wrote: »After feedback from our customers we recognise the words “3rd bill” and 6th bill” in our acknowledgment email is causing confusion and in a few cases causing the claim to reject due to “a late bill”.
If you have submitted a claim for the “Virgin sim only 6 month cashback offer” and your claim has been rejected as a late bill please call our cashback team on 0871 522 3403 where one of the team will manually check your claim.
Kind regards
