They are after Google/search engine rankings boost for their sites or scams, so they will "spread it around" as much as possible.
What gets me, is the fact that their website doesn't come up on the search, just a collection of spammed forums and their p!ssed off member complaining about being spammed.
They're shooting themselves in the foot every time they go about this. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

It's a bug in the forum or spam button hack.
If a thread is deleted by a BG or the forum team, it no longer shows in the index.
If a thread is deleted via the spam button, for some reason it still shows on the forum index until someone else posts so another thread is more recent.

I'd guess they have made a deliberate policy decision not to spend any time fixing it - but...yep...they really should..0 -
Only 6 non-spam posts on the first page of "New Posts" this morning.
I'm off to look elsewhere...0 -
having again cleared a load from my boards there are still lots of them out there yet again and they keep on regenerating as fast as they're removed.
I haven't got the time or the inclination to report any more. Not until MSE gets its collective finger out and does something about this onslaught - of which I see no signs or even intentions so far :mad:0 -
I do think we owe a "Thank you" to the Board Guides for being as patient as they have been about deleting this spam onslaught.:T
