MSE why dont you just tell us the truth? Removing spam on these boards is not a priority making money is. Many forums with far less traffic than here have better controls and or less targeted that this board. Two reasons why removing spam on here should be a priority and not lame safeguards like expecting others to do your job for you.

Many of us sick are tired of spam on here its getting way beyond a joke now.

I think MSE is targeted so much as word has got out in the spammer community that it's a soft touch

What if everyone reported a thread to the abuse team rather than click the spam button would this cause Towers to collapse in a heap? they say they are a small team and overworked as it is, perhaps a couple of thousand extra abuse reports might make them notice.

It already takes a few hours for the automated reply to come back to me (which I don't need) it could run into weeks if everyone sent a report instead of clicking.

They are not Chinese. It's Korean. Most of them seem to advertising online betting (which is illegal in South Korea and as a result spammers come to places like this to get around that)

Yep...I'm counting 4 of the little darlings in place at the moment. So I guess that makes the total of parasites that come here regularly:

- 4 Korean ones
- the black magic guy
- the contraceptive stuff

All to do with foreign countries and that's beside our own intermittent British ones.

Beyond a joke - and I simply cant be arsed to report any of them...blow it...

Come on MSE - put up a barrier to posts in non-latin language characters.

If MSE doesn't deal with this then these parasites are going to get worse and worse and kill the Forum - as people refuse to look at/contribute to it because the "real" posts will just get "buried" under all the spam.

When I see this alarm bells ring and there he is Spammingq in bulk.

If I can see this why can't MSE ?
