....and there are two others at it again at the moment.

There seems to be 3 of these characters and they just keep at it and I am a bit surprised at their sheer level of selfishness - with their absolute determination to carry on and on and on piggybacking for their Google ratings.

I am definitely cynically thinking MSE has maybe just got a policy of "Leave the forumites to knock them out by reporting them and we will just remove them completely during normal office hours - but we won't make any changes to our systems to stop this happening in the first place".

I've decided not to login in the morning anymore; the spam issue needs sorting.
  • I am inclining towards the view of "going on strike" one way or another until MSE sorts it.

I think I will just swop to reporting one post only for each spammer (in case no-one else has reported them) - rather than going through the rollcall of all their posts to add an extra person to Forumites trying to knock them out ourselves.

My one post will be sufficient to alert the MSE staff when they turn up for work anyway and with no apparent intention of altering the system to stop these characters.

At a guess - maybe "baby"? Would fit in with the contraceptive spam we've been having...

According to an Indian friend, a Babaji is an informal name for a witch doctor. It's believed that they can cast spells or place curses on people. Originally, the term "Babaji" referred to a religious teacher, but as far as she and her friends know, it's a witch doctor.
