No matter what MSE may claim, I've certainly seen a downturn in regular, old and new posters on my boards in the last few months. Above and beyond the general summer lull on the debt related ones.

Been on a few forums with technical issues such as search issues (so no new posts), page hangs etc and you soon see a drop in traffic.
New posts in the AM is useless on MSE with the level of spam.
Old horse but the one touch clean up option would cut loads of this while their supposed blocking systems get up to speed. I no longer hit spam on here.

Errata

I'm sick of all these attacks which are now becoming numerous.
I'm staying logged out!
But......... it's way past the time MSE should have a thingy allowing people to unsbscribe their membership.

I have said that as well but is it not obvious by now that these improvements are not coming?

Rather than have 20 members hit the spam button to remove each of 100+ posts in a session, 1 hitman could kill the spammer before all of those posts reach the boards.

To me it's obvious that they are not.
MSE are busy with with fixing endless bugs in the new version of forums. If they ever finish they will start working on another new version.
