It's only MSE who seem to have problems with this much spam, i go to other forums with more people and yet no spam, the question one is what most forums use, shocked at how much spam now i've just looked.

My internet is so slow it takes me ages to go through and mark them as spam so I don't bother in the end.

Come on MSE - get a handle on it.

We just know there will be several of them at it each and every day now and they do seem to be putting up more posts each.

I'm getting fed-up with reporting them now and inclined to think "Whats the point?" as the reason for me doing so has been to help MSE out - but if MSE doesn't care to help us users out then...

I'm considering not logging in to the site in the morning, as sometimes there are just too many spam messages.

eg. Just now I've searched new posts and the 2nd page has 25% spam (ie. 24 posts and 8 spam).

I don't even understand what the heck they are doing, as the subjects and contents are gobbledegook.

Once again I have to say - they're not working! At all.

I have reported endless spammers of many different topics this morning as they are posting their rubbish all over the boards, and I have to do this multiple times on a daily basis so clearly none of your "measures" are stopping them whatever you say.

People are becoming tired of reporting because nothing seems to be done to stop further incidents and it is driving people away from the forum because the endless spam posts all across the boards is a ridiculous situation.

You surely must have the people, the technology and the skills to stop this? (other forums I visit have managed it so it's obviously possible) There seems to be no will or desire to do it though
