Why is it taking so long to implement proper anti spamming measures? A forum as big as MSE is should have much better measures in place. Plenty of other forums have no where near as much spam as this forum has. Granted this forum is probably well known for its poor execution of removing spam thus is targeted more.

At the risk of repeating myself, if they cant be stopped from posting there needs to be someone on duty that can stop them sooner after they have started posting so that it doesn't get this far.

Advertise for some hitmen, I'm sure there are reliable people that are on at the same time as the spammers appear that would be keen to do the job, I know I would.

A Chinese language gobbledygook has been appearing on most boards, earlier and just now. I'm going through all their posts and hitting the spam button. I hope others do the same without delay so we get rid of them asap.

There is not enough will

No-one from Towers is here at 3am so they are not bothered what happens.
You will have seen how quickly the spambots are stopped when they operate through the day, that is when Towers sees the stuff so that is when it gets stopped.
One push of a button and the spammer is dead.
