Hello All
Mothernerd - You sound lke you are doing so well on all fronts, & a lovely mum to boot. My husbands mum often gives him pants and socks at xmas, and we are always very grateful.
Thank you all for the well wishes. Another good day under the belt today, which means I've just paid the business credit card using money I've made myself in the last few days. Which feels very good.
Have had lots of good things going on as well, such as getting in touch with a local famous author to see if he will do one of the sessions he was doing at world book day for my cafe. The children would love it so much.
I've also been nominated for inclusion in a local business feature and have an interview happening on monday, which is lovely. On Friday I am meeting with 1 potential tutor who may want to run groups from the space after school, & I have emailed another this evening.
Next week I have an artist dropping in with some of her work, which Im going to feature and hopefully sell some of for commision, a Philosophy school coming to discuss classes in the space, the brand new WI holding a coffee morning next tuesday, oh & think thats it
Today was a personal NSD again, making the distinction from business buying (and slipped a few bits of shopping in for us too) so the balance is tipping back in my favour on that front.
Lilt - How is Jelly today?

Hello guys.
Bob thanks for asking; Jelly is looking a bit better today but has serious cabin fever. However her temp shoots up and her cheeks go bright red and she gets miserable as soon as we set foot outside much as she wants to go. Her cough is horrendous now. I think a trip to the Drs is in order.
Caeraugirl thanks for the heads up. She has always had Vit D/Calcium and Iron tablets as she can't have dairy so I think out of all the vitamins those are the ones she should be fine with *touch wood* - I personally struggle with low B12 & folic acid & have to have tablets and injections every now and again. That can make me weak, nauseous and incredibly tired. I am just going to keep blitzing hidden veggies into everything and dosing her with vitamins and hopefully she should get over it. I am not overly concerned, as my friends children have all suffered similar this winter. The only one who hasn't has been the one who never actually goes anywhere and just stays at home with his mum all of the time. He has now started nursery so I am waiting for him to start coming down with everything going to shut his judgemental nan up from harping on at me that our nursery isn't good enough and she is too poorly etc etc & he is never unwell. She will have a cracking immune system by the time she gets to school
Have had a good day at work. Got great feedback and an extra job I can now do so I am feeling much more secure this week
No spending again today. Have started a diet of sorts because I am depressed by the amount of my clothes that don't fit nicely, including all of the new ones. I need to get a handle on my eating more than anything else but I also can't continue to get into bed at 7pm and sit on my laptop with a full tummy from dinner each evening. Had carrot sticks and low fat hummus at work for my lunch with some ginger greek style yoghurt which was lovely and all very fillingneed to start eating breakfast which entails going to bed earlier, to get up earlier, to eat before work... :rotfl:
To the dieting end I am going to cook something simple with the ready cooked green lentils I have frozen, and have that for my dinner tomorrow once I get home from work rather than waiting for 2 hours before eating!
And I am off out for a walk, since that is all my back can cope with
Hope you all have a lovely evening.

Quiet SFD. Much work done in the garden. Worked past being exhausted so hope I will be ok tomorrow (had little rests leaning on the wheelie bin). going to try going out for a walk round.
Today I am grateful for the book I read, for food from the fridge (finishing things off so I can see what I need to buy) and for making progress outside. Oh and keep forgetting how lovely the warm flannel feels on my face when I wash myself. Having hot water still feels like a bit of luxury. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Thanks Guys!
We'll be saving HARD once we are DF next month. so nothing will change really in terms of day to day. We will be on a 18 month plan to try and save a deposit to buy an actual home for us, instead of a lifetime of renting...
x
Hi Tiptoes - I'm rather jealous about your impending DF status (in a good way for you) and at the risk of sounding very boring, I think I heard that the Chancellor has announced an ISA initiative (which I'm considering for the (s)kids). For every £200(?) saved by you the Government pledge £50 towards a first time home purchase.
This link is helpful :-)

Fmess -the cafe is in South east London. Is that any good for you?
Lilt - poor Jelly. 2 of my customers have kids with slap face at the moment. One little boy was so unhappy the other day his mum had to speed through lunch to get him home. She hadn't realised he was so poorly. So sympathies. Your friends Nan needs to wind her neck in. Nothing healthy about keeping an older pre schooler at home 24/7 they need interaction. Good luck with your healthy eating too." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Oh Bob that went around our local area recently but lucky she avoided it!! About the only this she has avoided mind you! Yes agreed about his nan. Poor little fella barely speaks because he has no interaction! Until recently his mum used to just bark commands at home and wondered why he didn't talk. 5 minutes with me and he would be chattering away doing his best to talk. Makes me sad, but very happy as he is now at nursery and getting all that!
Is your cafe that breakfast cereal cafe? :rotfl:
So.. I had breakfast :j:T porridge with raisins
Haven't brought my purse out. Have got a stinking cold and the urge to get a taxi home from work would prove too much so I sensibly removed the temptation. £5 saved :money:
Will be a SFD. SO much food in the house still.
Have a good day guys xxx
