Just a quick on after the baby went back to sleep. Just to let you know my presence will be sporadic over the weekend as usual, but I will do a proper catch up on Monday when I'm back at work.

Happy weekend everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days - managed to get an infection in my foot so had to go to the walk in centre and have been instructed to rest it - I'm trying to see the positives of this, in that I HAVE to sit down and get on with my essay, but it's really annoying; had to work from home yesterday as I wasn't allowed to put any weight on it. Today it's much better, so I'm sitting at my desk for a bit. 2,750 words due in on monday.... words written 0. I really am the queen of procrastination lately.

Speakingofart, sorry to hear about your foot. Just take it easy and enjoy the rest.
I know what you mean about being the queen of procrastination. I have been mastering the art recently, majorly!!!!
CEW, congratulations on the sale of your house and the prospect of being debt free. :T
Stewby, Fmess, keep up the good work with those SFD's. I know it's not too easy but with the support from the other NST's, we can all make it to our targets. :T
Sazzle, sorry to hear about your car.It happened to me too 2 years ago. My beloved Corsa died on me at the hospital car park, the gear box went. It took 2 weeks to find somebody who would take it off my hands and pick it up from there. They paid £200 which was great. 2 mechanic friends tried to resuscitate it so we could get it to the shop of the buyer (the agent promised, as long as we can drive it all the way to the shop, even if we didn't get the gearbox sorted, they would have paid £600 as trade in value, but the mechanics couldn't bring her back to life) I used to tell my friends, "my car died in the hospital." How apt!
Thrifty, as mums we sometimes feel we could do with an extra pair of hands, or 6. I bet we would use them all most days! Kudos to the super mums out there! :T"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
Morning,
Didnt check in yesterday, worked an extra day.
Spent a grand total of £1.38 on chocs from lidl. Had 12 bars for that, would have only had two bars if i'd bought single ones somewhere else. Bit of a shame to lose a sfd but hey a girl needs chocolate!!
Been up since stupidly early with ds, but managed to do my washing and put it on the line. Hopefully it doesnt rain now!!
Got a birthday party to go to today and havent got a present yet, tbh i forgot until last night
Speaking of art i hope u get better soon, i need to do some college work! Also dont feel like doing it!
Cew congratulations on the house sale! :j
Thrifty see u on monday!
Welshkitty on a positive note at least it's only 1 spend day and not you get 25 sfd's?! :rotfl:
Well done on all the sfd's guys, i'm not very good at them, but get loads of lsd's.
Foods in the fridge ready for today, and ive made a small list for 4ldi of l1dl, havent been food shopping for over a week and need fridge bits, actually i need for for the freezer 2, but it'll have to wait until next week when dh gets paid!

Hi All,
Thanks for all the good wishes regarding the house sale and imminent Debt Freedom. It feels great to see the money in the bank.
When we handed over the keys to the buyers they gave us a lovely card and a bottle of wine. Luckily we had left their card and bubbly in the kitchen so it didn't look like an afterthought.
Really pleased to have sold it to a lovely young couple who are so happy and excited. It really made me feel good. We had promised them that after agreeing the sale and shaking on it we would reject any further offers. I have been gazumped? in the past and it's not nice so I wouldn't do this to someone else.
Rather than go out for a meal to celebrate as planned we decided to go for the, slightly, cheaper option of a takeaway instead. First one this year.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hey everyone,
Some great posts to read up on since Thursday! Sick and big debt payments and seats filled on the naughty step! Thirfty, I really appreciate your tough love approach - I think it's good to evaluate where you went wrong and just how bad a blowout is, so we can learn for next time.
Nothing much to report here - no spends yesterday so 5 SFDs and probably another today as I'm heading to the allotment soon and then to the Buddhist centre later. The sourdough pre-dough is proving in the sun to hopefully make a rye loaf, but I think it will be tomorrow now as it's a long and slow process!
The biggest achievement this week is not just that I've LTW and CTW every day, but the fact that I've gone to the office every day, where I sometimes stay at home, but on the whole it's better to be out in the world.
I've also been brave and asked someone from online dating if they want to meet up, no reply yet, but I usually wait to be asked so this is a new approach!
Hope the sun is shining where you are, have a great weekend turtles! xNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Well done synonymous that's a brave step forward
Today I had done the shopping by 9an and ran 6km by 10.30Feeling motivated so started my Kon Marie decluttering and I've done all my clothes
My drawers and wardrobe look so tidy and I can see every item I own with ease. Thrown out at least 30 items
Still need to do the kitchen but think I'll go for a walk in the sun first as I have my charity do tonight and need to get showered etc in the next few hours. Maybe the kitchen will be tomorrow's frog.
