    Hi everyone :hello:

Seems we are doing well this week, hugs again to little turtles still on the mend and bigger turtles who are feeling tired. I'm going to sleep very soon too - cycling uphill on the way home is helping me get to bed earlier!

SFD number 4 here, yesterday was another free lunch at work and my friend cooked and provided the wine last night, so I've hardly eaten at home. It does mean I have a lot of food to get through, and not much freezer space left! Was going to go to the allotment this morning but cooked a beef joint and made two vegi pizzas with items from the Company Shop instead. One pizza provided lunch and then tea at work, so I've probably scraped 4.5 of my five-a-day :o

I've got food to use up and beef stock for a soup so will have to do a food inventory tomorrow night and try to make sure that nothing is wasted, and that I can free up some space in the freezer (think I need a frozen soup spreadsheet!). Also made a rye sourdough starter which is ready to try out now so will have a go at making rye bread (no kneading!). With the latest Walking Dead to watch too - I'm far too excited about this Friday night! :rotfl:

Have already meditated, so physio and moisturising then bed for me, night night turtles ;)

    Good morning,

well it seems there is also loads of healthy eating and batch cooking going on. Great to see it.

OH went out for drink after football last night so I had the house to myself. Put the paperwork away, cooked a big batch of lentil and bacon soup and fitted a top tube bike seat to my bike. Will see this weekend if it gets OH's and DS' approval and might take DS for a test ride.

Had an interesting bus ride to work today. DS started suddenly coughing heavily and didn't look right. Luckily I had picked up a Metro which I never do, but I liked the LIDll advert on the front, lol. So I had that ready when DS started to get sick. He was right as rain straight after so I think he just coughed too hard and the motion of the bus didn't help. Was a challenge to get of the bus though. Two backpacks, a helmet, a balance bike, a child and a Metro full of puke. Had to get off early but he cycled quite happily the extra distance.

Oh and good news. My friend who had the brain haemorrhage is still in hospital but 6 weeks and 4 operations later she is doing really well, even the doctors are surprised.

Today will be a spend day as I pop to LIDLL at lunch for fruit and veg and after work to Tescimo for catlitter and wipes.

Have a nice day and keep Marching, the sea is in sight. Just watch out for those first waves trying to throw you back. Keep pushing on

    Happy Friday everyone,

Just a quick check in from me, work still crazy busy, i can't wait for the weekend. SFD yesterday, but today will be a small spend on work parking and NOTHING ELSE ( must not let myself use this as an excuse for buying crisps!)

Hope everyone is doing OK - hugs to those feeling tired.

CEW - Such a lovely gesture getting gifts for your buyers, hope everything is still going well.

Thrifty - it's when I hear stories like that I just don't know how I would cope with being a mum, :eek:getting off a bus with two bikes, a small child who's just been sick and a metro full of sick deserves some sort of medal I think, I don't know how you managed it.:A

Take care and have a lovely Friday Turtles - I'm off to see my sister tomorrow, but will check in on Sunday.

    Hello everyone

I have just updated some of mytargets as I haven't been able to log on for a couple of days.

More debt repayments which is the only change today.
    SFD 2/15
    GROCERIES/CLEANING/PETS £76.91/100 - monthly shop done.
    PETROL £64.39/70
    GAS/ELECTRIC £80/80
MISC £20 FOR SCHOOL FEES AND LUNCHES. Yet to be paid.
DEBT REPAYMENT £365/309 still one payment to do so I will pay off more than planned this month.
SAVINGS £15/500 - I have no emergency fund and need to get one together as well as pay off the debt.
    ME TIME 15 MINS 2/31

I've had a bit of a wobble with this challenge for the last couple of days as I have nothing left in the bank account apart from some to cover DD's. Then I realised I was being stupid as I have paid everything and got the months shopping with a small amount to spare. Also as the weather is getting better I haven't been having the heating on at night so I'm not using it so quickly. Hopefully it will stay OK and I won't need to top up.

The decluttering is going really well and I have been in the dreaded cellar:eek:.

    Let's hope it carries on

It was just one bike, so not that bad, lol. You just learn to cope. I didn't think I would, was never a natural with kids. Now have the two I always wanted. And grown another half dozen arms. Luckily we were sitting in the very back so no one really noticed, not that this would embarrass me any more :rotfl:

Hi everyone! Thrifty graet news about your friend and so glad your little one was fine :T

I too was never a natuaral with kids-and eneded up with four :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My sister who evry kid loves is yet to have any. Very Ironic.

Toady will be a planned spendy as my son suffers from eczema. I buy his cream as I find it easier than making doctors appoinmtments/picking up an extra virus when all I need is cream! So thats the best part of ten pounds  Still haven't fully caught up yet, but it's friday and the son is shining, so have a great day everyone :T

You can't leave us all hanging......What have you done?

House sale has gone through. Just waiting for the funds to reach my account. Been told it will be by close if play today :j:j:j

Think I will leave it in there over the weekend and then pay off ALL of my debts on Monday or as soon as they give me a full and final settlement figure.

    Chez x

I think it would be easier to answer what haven't I done!

It started last night with a take away - which was DHs fault, but I should have put my foot down and said no!

Decided this morning I need something to wear for interview. Couldn't find anything in usual shops, but bought 2 new casual tops.

Whilst waiting for final clothes shop to open went to Costa, not just for coffee, but cakes too!

Found a top for interview - £23!!!! Also got a pair of shoes for holiday (not til June).

Also spent about £80 on groceries which is waaaay over budget and on top of that have order £20 worth of meat from local farm.

So, that's pretty much my months budget blown in one morning!!! Guess we will be living out of the cupboards for the rest of the month!!

EDIT: just added up my receipts and have spent nearly £165 within the space of 3 hours!!
