Honeybear love and hugs. I know you will be sad but you brought Mrs Dog love, security and peace in her twilight years and she knew that. The gingers send you wet kitten kisses from their soot stained faces (yes they have found the grate).

I need to clean up in the kitchen then I'll do the list and add photos to my ebay listings and that will be it for the day.

We were so lucky with Mrs Dog; she didn't shine in Rescue I think because she was so traumatised, but once she settled in here she was a joy to have around, a real gift. There have been lots of tears today but very fortunately I'd booked us to go and see a tiny show tonight that OH saw in Exeter last year at a festival at which he cried with laughter. It was just what we both needed, and to come home to your kind comments and telephone messages from friends has been very helpful.

Dusty, I have to say your sooty kittens reminded me of a little grey cat we had several years ago (sadly long gone) who used to hide up the chimney when she was frightened. We only realised it when we found tiny sooty paw prints on the cream rug.

I wouldn't have missed a minute with any of my animals and this sadness is a price worth paying, although it always surprises me with it's intensity. Thank you so much, all of you for your kind thoughts, they've really helped.
    Better is good enough.

Honey.. you gave her a loving happy end to her life.. you were there at the end and loved her and she knew that. So very sad to hear she has crossed Rainbow Bridge but she left a piece of her love with you and took some of yours with her so you are never truly apart xx

We're very sad, here. Mrs Dog's condition deteriorated and I had to make the decision. I always, always, always think I'm calling it too early and by the time the vet's been and it's happened I realise it wasn't too early at all.

So sorry to hear that. Animals give us such joy, it is always a wrench when they need to move to higher planes. Hugs to you.

    Morning everyone.

The bedroom and bathroom got done yesterday.
    Dailies were done.
Today I want to get the living room floor washed.

Ginger ninja is a bit better so pleased about that. Have started giving him a wet pouch and less dried food to get his weight down.

Must remember to report street light as it went out last night.

Lunch with DD today then shopping.

Dusty That's great news about your Mum.
HoneyBear Sorry to hear about Mrs Dog. Big Hugs.
