Honeybear, so sorry to hear about your loss, sending virtual hugs your way.
Pigpen, apparently you don't like hugs!?! so sending biggest smile ever your way, hopefully it'll catch on
Dusty good news about your mum
Well only got dailies done yesterday, just about, as what started off as having no clutter on landing, ended up having up of DS1's furniture on landing and still is! He is having a new carpet fitted in his room today (for the cost of a roast dinner, very frugal), and as it is an old house, hubby spent all day levelling off the floor.
So all of house will get done today as we are having friends round for tea, then hubby and friend will fit carpetwhile us women have a cuppa.
Also managed to persuade hubby to replace skirting board to a deeper one, so will wax it today, told him we would save money on paint, as old ones were painted white, and constantly needed doing as kept discolouring and going yellow. It's going to look fab.
Going to do final coat in bathroom today, and give it a good cleaning, then hubby's friend can measure for some new flooring in there too.
My house is slowly getting a very cheap make over, loving it.
So for today's list, going to do ours and DS1's.
Hope everyone has a lovely day and hopefully catch up with you all this evening.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

Morning all
Hugs to all those who need them
Made an early start and pulled everything out of the airing cupboard. We have way too much bedding!
Have pulled out 5 big settee throws, a big crocheted blanket I made, 4 single duvet sets that are too young for the boys, 2 pairs of curtains and a coat! That will all be given away either to the Cs or I'll ask DD3 if she wants the duvet sets for her partners children.
Going to go through the towels next there are a couple with holes in May ring the vets and see if they are any good to them or the animal charity that use their practice.SPC~12 ot 124

Grey and drizzly today. DS away to school. Collared by nursery teacher about a phonics test they did with DD so that was interesting. But made us late for DS! And I wanted to see his teacher about some unpleasant hair-pulling incidents. So I briefly mentioned to the TA (she asked which child so she could keep an eye on them today) and asked for 5min with teacher after school to talk through. Gah.
WM just finished so need to empty that and the DW too. Want to go to @ldi but neither me nor DD seem keen to go out just now.
So I guess I'll do my kitchen and see what it's like at 10.30. My mum has asked us to go meet her and a friend for coffee but I'm not sure how we'll do for time and being back for school later. Aww, it seems her foster baby might be with us for a while. He can't go to mum, nor her aunt, as they failed the SS assessmentso it's looking like adoption, poor little mite. Mum said if she were 20yrs younger she'd keep him but by the time he's 10 she'll be 70
I said I'd have him
he's gawjuss.
Right, DD is hankering for yoghurt, into my kitchen of devastation I go...Bossymoo

Honey- sorry to hear your sad news.
Thanks for the new style lists!
Sorry I've noto been on for a while. I have been asked to work Wednesday afternoons up until SATS week. I agreed with the proviso that I can leave to pick ds1 up from school.
I gad lots of work that needed to done for Friday so I tackled that yesterday along with two hours of ironing.
Ds1 needs to dress up as their favourite book character on Wednesday. He wants to be a giraffe!!! I tried to persuade him to be something else. But he said that's his favourite book! So after looking on Pinterest I have managed to purchase an orange hoodie and jogging bottoms. Wil buy some brown felt and Glue brown splashes on. I hope it looks alright!
We also have a house viewing tomorrow afternoon so now I have run my errands and done the shopping I can concentrate on my tip of a house! It's the first viewing since November so fingers crossed. Hubby has said if it doesn't sell before April, we are taking it off the market and staying here for another three yearshubby thinks about the finances, I think about the effect it will have on our family.
So, my flying of the week starts now...

Very late entry to this week's flying...
Kitchen Done!
I did the Bathroomon Sunday morning as usual
Very busy at school, and as I still seem to be recovering from this very nasty cold, I haven't done very much at home. Just resting and recovering from exercise class. It was good to be back after missing the last two through illness.
I have a longish list of things to do today, including posting an application for an online Spanish course, so will perhaps catch up later. Hope everyone is well, love, hugs, sticks and spoons. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Just had lunch and had another request for a viewing tomorrow! Arggh:eek: none for months and then two in one day. Which is good but new viewing is at lunchtime so even less time to get the place sorted!
Hhc anyone!
Planning one now and then at 2.00 and 2.30. Would love some company!.....Grocery challenge-

Honey bear I am so sorry
He obviously had a wonderful life with you.
Dusty great news
Haven't done much today, think I did too much yesterday. But we have clean bedrooms and bathrooms do it's all good.
Been resting with my little old girl, Lucy the kitty, she's 12 and not very well at all.
Just a wash in and hoping it doesn't rain so the washing dried.
Hoovered the front room so it's all reasonably tidy at least.
On new medication and its making me sluggish so m blaming that for my laziness lol0 -
Sitting here with a late lunch watching the rain.
Saw one student this morning, then coffee with manager to celebrate my certificate renewal. She said the contract is up for renewal with the uni's current assessors and would I be interested when the tender goes out. Hm, difficult. Part of me doesn't want any commitment now I'm freelance, and also they pay much less than I get privately. BUT it would be regular work even if I only committed to 1 per week, and if the funding is dropping further in Oct as promised, they may not be able to offer me so much teaching. Will have to think it over and get more details.
Not sure what the plan is this afternoon; see which room is the worst I think, although nowhere is too bad. Well apart from the room of doom office which i could continue.
Made myself drop into the gym on the way home for a little swim.
need to have a final look over a report and send it
plan for weekend as BIL staying and he's veggieRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
