I thought I'd do the lists a little different this week to enable more of us to feel we had achieved something and with spring approaching; each day will give you some basic flying, some deep cleaning choices and some decluttering choices. As ever feel free to pick and mix what needs doing for you according to your ability and time.
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.
Thank you Natty for last week's thread
Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up
These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.
Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.
A few of the basics before we start the week
Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.
Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

Morning all
Thank you for the threads Dusty and Natty.
Hugs Dusty, I feel for you and wish I could offer more than virtual support.
Hope the poorlies are feeling better, hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons where needed.
Taking a leaf from Elastics book I bought a box down from the attic when up there searching for paints (that DD2 had taken with her it. Turned out, so DH offered some of his war hammer paints as they re the nearest substitute) a box of carp binned, a few bits earmarked for CS box and a carrier bag full of papers recycled and some shredded.
Knitted another little baby cardi, sorted some bits and bobs of bath stuff out - some of those are going to be binned (little oil filled shaped of unknown age!) the mini bathbombs and bubble baths will go in bathroom to be used up ASAP. A bottle of coloured sand can go as well not even sure why that has been kept.
Weird thing yesterday a friend we haven't seen for a while popped round for a visit, and mentioned a mutual friend who neither of us had seen in ages, then the phone rings and it was the mutual friend who been going through an old phone and found our number so was checking we were still here! So phone was passed round to all for virtual visit catch up by everyone. Back to school/work today.
Will try and keep up with lists but still not. Sure how to paste daily lists up on iPad so will just say what I do.
My weekly list is
Explorers for DS2
B12 injection appt fora mil
Go with mil to Drs re the phone call she had about her colesteral level being high.
DS2 progress evening at school
Neighbours 60th party to attend
Mils cleaning
Make start on cross stitch gift needed for April.
Knit some more baby stuff for teacher friend just want to use up another 100grm ball to give her an assortment of cardis, bootees hats and mittens.
That and the lists should keep me busy enough I think!SPC~12 ot 124

Was up early (for me, 6.15) due to bad dreams
I hope I don't keep thinking about it all day, I have a tendency to.
Today's list looks doable for me, will make a start once DD2 has left for school.
Her dad is coming over this morning to take my car to his friend's for a new tyre. He's also bringing DD1 and her boyfriend back from the boyfriend's so they can work on her car. Still having a problem with dampwe think it might be the rubber seal around the boot but we now can't get the boot open to check. We're hoping their dad can help (he doesn't know it yet
)
Off to finish my yukky fruit tea (3 weeks no coffee) and get dressed

Mrs MP funny how things happen sometimes.
I need to get organised as a busy week so prioritising will be key.
First:
Kitchen rescue

order cricket pads
Visit Mum
Go to the shops
find notes for tonight's meeting
Bit of flying or filling the brown bin

Morning JulieJim, just spotted you're local
He goes to Awesome Walls in Normacot, the staff there are really amazing, my DS1 has been going now on a weekly basis for about 2 years now and is currently working on his level 4, there are 7 levels altogether. They can do kids clubs, several throughout the week, so you can usually find one with a time to suit you, or you can do free climb, and have to do an induction first, if child under 14 and adult has to also do induction.
Right, everyone still in bed, so time for a quick cuppa, feed numerous animals and make a start on house before we all go out.Loving life to the full, just need purse full too

I'm in - after an absence. Glad to be back!
3 weeks of list and it shows - a stomach bug followed by a cough that will not clear. Half term was basically 2 stints at the charity shop, 2 doctors appointments, 1 dentist appointment followed by 3 house viewings a day of housework, some stress about my creative writing group and a migraine.
Last night DS collapsed in the bathroom. He went all grey and groggy, but seems alright today.
Today is bright, sunny and windy here. Two loads of towels already on the line and first load of bedding in the machine.
Hope all is well with other flyladies. Will be checking in daily. Shout at me on f/b if I don't!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
