Honey Bear - I feel for you - that stage of friendship is difficult, isn't it, but well done for re-evaluating if it's not quite right. Sometimes friendships and even family relationships can be very one sided. Hugs. xJuly 16 £95/£200

Dr actually called.. wonders will never cease!! Anyway, Squeak has to go for scans on her kidneys and bladder to check for problems as she does have yet another uti. No wonder she is reluctant to go to the loo until she is weeing if it hurts every time.. more ABs to collect for her later.
Fish tank arrived and is the wrong one.. !!!!!!.. how difficult it it really? Dictionaries arrived too.
Dot away to nursery and Pixie sleeping.. it is so beautiful and silent in here it is like heaven.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just had a sewing up and adding buttons session so can take a bag of knitted baby bits into work tomorrow for Friend. Need DD3 to pick up bootees I knitted for her friend, that will clear the table somewhat and now I can put button tin and sewing threads back in the cupboard. Aunties card written so card stash can go back in drawer. Neighbours rsvp sorted.
In lounge and kitchen it doesn't look too bad, DS2 has scouts tonight and DS1 is doing an open mic night so we ae hoping to watch a film, how bad is it that when we were deciding at lunch time DH said lets watch one we haven't seen but it doesn't sound very good, so then we will be able to give it to the CS, LOL basically that translates as let's waste 2 hours so we can clear 1cm of space on a shelf!SPC~12 ot 124

Just finished the paid stuff. House is filthy, but where to start? I think I will tackle the kitchen, utlity and office first as they are the most visible. Picked up some greatly reduced southern fried chicken pieces so we will have a quick (if not very healthy) tea with those, some hm wedges, salad and coleslaw. Gives me more time to clean.
Poor DS is coughing badly and still looks poorly. He started with this bad cough on Saturday, how long before I get him checked out at the docs??0 -
Prescription collected, teacher spoken to re reading books, Squeak is flying through them so I've asked if she could possibly have some which pose a little more of a challenge while she is still excited about learning.. Apparently she is already on the highest reading books in the class.. they are so easy! Some are a little harder than others but she is reading more difficult stuff at home because the school books are too easy. I warned them about her need for medicine for the rest of the week and about her uti and need to use the loo and that she has been referred for ultrasound.
Nap decluttered, I was utterly exhausted..
Best go make a start on feeding the marauding horde.. I am 1 down tonight..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
A frustrating day of achieving veery little, so many visitors to the door and phone calls.

List will be late tonight.
Oh and Mum's doctors sent mental health around to assess her. She is furious. Well if you keep ringing up and saying I can't cope, I need help, I want it all to end then that is what they will do.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

She needs to chill and focus on getting well, it take a while to get over any illness and surgery. 10/10 for the rapid intervention from the mental health team, they will get her sorted, one way or another.. Don't forget to take time for yourself too, even if it means saying no to a few people.. the last thing you need is yourself to start flagging.
