    Big hugs, JTTOU.

Morning Ionafan! Lovely to see you posting again. And Lamewolf, if you read this which I know may be unlikely, piccie please of the finished waistcoat. I've often wondered how it was coming along.

Pigpen, my mother taught both my younger brother and me to read way, way before we went to school, mainly because she wanted reading time herself and in her mind it was the best way to get us to shut up. I was reading short novels by four years old, so if Squeak's that way inclined please don't wait for the school to catch up with her.

So sorry to hear that attempts to heal your mother are not going down well, Dusty. (((Hugs))) for you and her.

Totally crossed wires and miscommunications yesterday and R did actually turn up, having given us 40 minutes notice. I will have to spend some time today removing gibble piles from cupboards where I had to hide them in a hurry while making up his futon in my office. We're both shattered, but the house looks great! Thank goodness sticking with flying little and often has resulted in a house that can be rescued in a hurry.
    Better is good enough.

Yay good news, Mum does not have to have any further treatment, they got it all. She has seen a friend and washed her hair. At long last I feel a corner has been turned.

I'm battling on with governor reports but washing is on the line, washing up done, toilets cleaned and litter trays changed. Time to feed kittens and have a cuppa.

  • Well done on finishing the waistcoat LW looking forward to a photo.
Brilliant news about your mum dusty, I hope the news helps ease her out of the black cloud she's curently battling with.
Just been with mil to the nurse for the b12 injection, they did a blood test while she was there as the sugar level in her blood is also high her blouse was too tigh so needed to come off for the needles, was shocked to see a really bad bruise like rash all over her back it looked like cheatah or leopard skin. Nurse said she'd never seen anything like it and advised us to see a Dr. I've just googled and think I've found it, "toasted skin syndrome"! She always has a water bottle close by since she had the fractured vertebra diagnosed so I think she's been using it a bit too hot and a bit too often. Got to ring tomorrow re an appt as none were Available today.

My head is in meltdown mode.. after the forced mediation on Monday I am now unable to function. I cannot be around people even the social interactions online through chat facilities is proving impossible to maintain. I am eventually going to be a hermit.

Big hugs. Try and stick with us! I hope you manage to find some way through or some source of support.
