I have bought some spare bedclothes, pjs, and a pair of boots online. Some have arrived and i am delighted with them. It is so nice to have new things!Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Hello sorry i have not been on in ages. All is well here work is mad but otherwise it has been a great Easter. I spent some of it with Andy walking in New Forest and Lymington. It is 2 years since Steve has passed. I have been saving just the usual amount but nothing extra. Costs are really high. I have done a bit of decluttering but mostly marking . I have had to buy new specs £2.5k (being as blind as a bat) and some trainers. I need a new boiler and that is not cheap with my waterworks we are talking £3.5k.
Bus fares are still low thank goodness. Stay well everyone. I hope to catch up soon.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
Lovely to hear from you SW. Wow those glasses are expensive but I suppose you have to pay for complex lenses. It’s good that you are walking in the forest. Can’t believe it’s 2 years already since Steve passed. It’s been 5 years this year since my mum passed. The time goes by but we still miss them ❤️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Howdy Skinty, I miss you all. I hope you love it up north.
My specs look fashionable noone could tell i am almost blind, and my headaches have stopped. Hurrah. I am going to try to catch up on here. If possible i will try to spend one day at the weekend on cleaning and chilling so i can also post on here. I've £150 left to my name for the rest of the month.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
Great to see you posting again.
It really doesn't seem like 2 years and it's good Andy has your support.
Have you looked into having your eyes done as long-term that may work out cheaper.
Hope you've nice weather and do relax once a week.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear it in 2026.1 -
I have been blind twice so it is not worth getting my eyes done as they wont heal but i hope these glasses will last. The last pair were used all the time i was awake for 6 years!
All is well here. This week is a good week, although we have no days off it is payday on Friday and then there are two 4 day weeks (Thank you King Charles) I cannot wait for my credit card to be paid off. I am only going to buy food and pay for transport that is it for the next month.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
You get good use out of the glasses!
Have you got any plans for the short week, aside from marking 😉Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear it in 2026.1 -
Im not sure i have marking to do but i will try to do some gardening if the weather is good. Due to the cost of the specs i dont think i will have enough money to go out. lol. We are closer to the summer hols and i am hoping to get my boiler sorted soon. I've got to catch up on your thread there are 136 posts!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20221
