Mark3tplac3 or join a couple of local selling groups, it should get snapped up quickly.

Have 'flix running in the background, maybe a nature prog as you can look up occasionally and give you're eyes a chance to focus into the distance.

    Great news about the bonus.

I am selling my old xmas tree for a low price  of £10 to clear space someone is coming this weekend i think to buy it for v cheap. The lovely new tree is up but only partly decorated. Work has been bonkers so i am not on MSE much. My new gas and electricity dd is now £179!!!!! it has doubled since last year. We barely put the heating on!

If it wasn't for the bonus that i have saved i would be panicking sooo much. In my current account there is £180,  then after the cc bill is paid i have £30 left I think till end of month. I really wanted a chinese but dont think i can afford it now.

I have been spending quite a bit of money on snacks at work £10 a week and this has to stop as i simply cant afford it and overpay the mortgage at the same time.

I dont know why but someone is letting off fireworks, my question is why? Then Im dying to know how on earth can they afford them? It feels like we are in the 1970s again. Operation tighten my belt has begun!

  • That is rediculous. Estimated or actual readings?

Take snacks with you, £10 is too much each week.

Do a little on the tree while having a brew and it will be ready for next month.

Actual readings. I put the heating on for half and hour a day for 5 days when mum and dad came as dad get's cold. I did some tree decorating and added Steve's bits to the tree too. It is starting to look lovely. A little bit a day i think will cheer me up. I have put the lights on twice but am worried about the cost.

I made £10 from the sale of the tree and used it to buy some food from the local shop. Work will be bonkers for about a week and a half. Then there is only one more week after that till payday. If i can stay avoiding buying only the essentials I will be so chuffed. Luckily i dont have any plans to go out or buy anything luxurious those days are over for the next two years i think. It feels like we are back in the 1970s again. No more eating out etc.

  • I am still using my entertainment fund to eat out just less often.  Places are packed so there doesn’t seem much cutting back going on.

This week i bought some treats for people at work as it was my birthday i did spend a lot £35  but they are nice people and i have lots of treats at home now in case anyone drops in.

Work is the usual madness but I am chilling today with a bit of work and plenty of cleaning to do. I still have £229 in my account and my cc is £270 which is brill. The heating has gone on once a day for an hour. All is well and i am happy at home although tired at work. Only 3 days till payday. Then 3 weeks till the next hols.

Thank you ladies, i do feel as though i am a bit wiser, I am a happy old boot.

Hurrah we have just been paid and there is an £100 extra in my wages, they messed up last year and looks like i will have this permanently. I am putting it towards the mortgage. After bills I have £300 for food and fun as usual.
