Hope you got all your marking done SW. £250 is still great savings.

It’s just started raining here and very blustery. Hope it’s ok where you are.

Morning, it was raining like mad yesterday night. My bird table which is really heavy metal has fallen over into the vegetable patch. Luckily it is full of weeds!!!
I have put aside £144 for next month's credit card bill, I am reducing my payment to the Christmas Fund from £100-50 as i have kept on spending it since Steve was sick. There is £130 for spending on food and fun this month. I had planned to visit Andy in a few weeks but I dont know if i can now? I will try to minimise spending so I can.

    Today's tasks:
    • All  marking done.
    • Then lesson prep.
    • I also need to go on a one hour walk (to get a bit of fruit)as I looked at some pics taken of me over the weekend and can see that i have really put on weight!
    • Total spend today was £19 (£15 spent on food, £4 new mobile phone case ordered)
    • Potted 2/3 tomatoes, I cant do 3rd as need another compost bag which i will have to also use for petunias and salvias later in week when weather calms down as it is too windy.
    • Cooked some nice chicken which i will have with veg and noodles.

You've made the right decision with adjusting the budgets. Maybe Andy could visit you for a change of scenery, but whatever happens he will understand money isn't always available to do things.
Your to do list looks good and the non-work things relaxing.

I’m glad the funeral went well and you’re feeling positive, I think you absolutely will make Steve proud (and have already).

Budget looks good, hope the weather is clear enough for you to get in the garden :)

I am going to stay positive, work is atrocious. I just wonder when the job cuts will stop. I must think of ways to make more money driving will definitely keep my options open.

Apply for your provisional licence, that's the first part out the way. Then start saving for lessons and see how much you've got together in a year.

MF I have the form here it's been here for over 2 years filled in B) ! but i am stuck on the dr's part. I will ring surgery and see how it's filled in and whether i send it to dr or to DVLA!. I might need to get another one as i filled it in 2 years ago!!!!
I will  print off the job application form today and bring it back with me. V excited. Everyone is upset at work but i was expecting this. All being well I shan't spend any money now till the weekend and then only on essentials. It is a beautiful bright day, I've been told it is nippy though.

There should be a booklet guide with the form and it talks you through what to put where. Have a look on the DVLA site as that will also say.
Good luck with the application, change is a good thing and should be embraced when the right opportunity appears.
