I just heard that 5 people at my workplace that have applied for the same job! Clearly it is a busy time.
I posted a letter to the place (costing £2.50) then received confirmation they had my email application! lol. Still you have to be in it to win it! I am just keeping my fingers crossed.
I saw Extreme Moneysavers from Martin Lewis on ITV today. V inspiring. I have paid off all of next month's credit card, the money was sitting in my xmas/cc account. I have only £40 left now to be v careful till June! One of the ladies was clearing out her kitchen of stored food I could easily do that so i will. Thanks Martin.
         We shall see......

A few senior staff have been helping me to prepare for interview if i am lucky enough to be called. I will hear sometime next week.
This weekend i will prepare answers to interview questions. Then i have plenty of marking to be getting on with. Plus i have lot of house tidying to do. I wont be out as i dont have much money to my name. I'm only allowed to buy fruit and bread and taxi fare's to interview if i am called. £40 to name. I do hope i get this job i just want somewhere stable.

That's really good of them, soak up as much guidance as you can as it's not possible to be over-prepared.
Hope you've nice weather and can do prep in the garden.

Have a lovely weekend SW. I’m sure you can make the budget last until payday & make some lovely meals from your freezer.
Good luck with the job application I hope they call you for interview but I am surprised it is being done in person. Is it being advertised externally too or  just an internal application? Hope you get it 🤞 I have my 2nd jab next week.
