My credit card bill for May and June was high (£538 due to my friend's illness and passing) so i have paid off all of May's and all but £100 from June's (from savings rather than current account) to avoid the stress of looking at it. I am hoping i will be able to avoid spending so much next month.

I have some deadlines coming up and will do them at work tomorrow and am just mopping floor today as people are staying over for funeral. Tomorrow i have to clean bathroom, wipe down fridge etc.

Bless you Thrifty he is my best friend, but this sounds crackers it feels like he is still here looking over my shoulder and his husband feels the same!!!

It's raining outside. I am sooooo happy my weed and feed will work on the corner of the lawn where the weeds are growing! This month i have lots of work to do but then things will start to calm down in June and July. I cannot wait to enjoy life again albeit cheaply. Payday at midnight tomorrow. Woop woop.

You have done well to get your CC back under control so quickly. Using it for important things then tackling it quickly must be the way forward. I do this too as I hate the thought of debt creeping up
    Good timing with the lawn!
