    Evening Missus A

You're getting so much done! And loving how you're handing your son - really inspirational, to be honest.

Now, as you'll have seen from other diaries, I'm a bit of a nag when it comes to those signatures. I happen to notice that yours has a big old 'FAIL' notice on it for the non-spending days in March...

I'm shaking my head... look ->*shakes head* See! No need to focus on what didn't happen, when you've got all those amazing NSDS to celebrate! So please, let's get rid of the F word and instead be blooming chuffed that you've done really well - even more so when you consider March has been (at least to me) a very challenging month. Pretty please? With a cherry on top? *plucks off the dog hair and hopes Missus A doesn't notice*

    *hugs*

Isn't it funny how we do focus on what we haven't done (I have a lot of that to focus on these days - eek!) so I second Nora in that it's demotivating and not fair after all the great things you have done. Also, 7 NSD's is never a fail. That's still a lot of days without spending any money!

I feel sleepy just reading all that you've done recently and how much emotional stuff you've dealt with really well. It's good to hear that the counselling works well for you, and I guess for it to work so well it has to be difficult a lot of the time.

Looking forward to your signature change too. MTx

    OK stop nagging

Nora in this place if you get just one dog hair you are lucky but be thankful they like you enough to want to share - sticky rollers are always on the dresser by the front door to use before leaving the house

    which actually reminds me

who is up for a laugh

on Thursday one of the student hair dressers asked if I was going near sainsburys - she was after a lift on the back seat of the car is daughters old vacuum DH is going to see if he can get it going - she pointed out to me that it was there
    my response
well with 6 dogs I never know when I need the car vacuumed so I keep it handy
    her response
oh thats a really good idea

and she meant it needless to
say she wont be coming near my hair :):)

I think I will blank out whole of siggy and only write what is done in it so I can see what I do do

now today has been another busy day
I have kondoed the airing cupboard and have all my summer bedding one fitted on flat sheet and pillowcases all in one pillow case so its all together
winter stuff is the same cover sheet and pillow cases all inside another pillow case - now this takes up so little room its amazing
fleece blankets are rolled stood up on end on the floor
towels all rolled on top shelf
this gives me the biggest shelf free - I am sure it wont take long to fill it :)
oh oh oh good idea moment - I think I can fit the ironing board and iron in the airing cupboard - now that will be tidy

and we took out all the bottom of the larder as well
all old tea towels gone to work for rags - all new ones in wash to freshen I will iron them and roll them to put somewhere (will need a new box for them

so we now have one wire basket trolley from ikea in the larder and we will get three stacking boxes for the tea towels and dog treats to go in

oh my goodness what a lot today

    oh and a nsd

tomorrow is visiting day with daughter - she is very good about seeing her brother

I have checked the free postcode lottery and done a survey that paid me 1.60 not too bad for 10 mins work

right off for a browse as dh has gone back to work for half an hour :)

    well done you :T

I have one of these for the ironing board and iron, love it as it saves space and keeps the iron away from things so it can go straight on there to cool down http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mounted-Ironing-Board-Holder-Minky/dp/B00B116BCI

Rosa that is £16.84 I could quite a bit of chocolate for that :):)
fancy encouraging me to spend money

now one question about it how is it safe to put a hot iron on that on the back of the door does it have some heat reflecting bit so the heat cannot get at the door

right last trip around the boards then off to bed for me

    sleep well everyone

Ooops true :o although they are in 4rgos etc so might be doable on points or something rather than money

It has a metal-look plate next to the iron to reflect heat and also the way that the iron is held means that it is usually tipped a little away from the plate.

Rosa I will most likely get one but what I am going to do is wait till the end of the month and see what of my allowance and what of the grocery money is left and then see if I have enough for it BUT I think the ironing board will for now go in along one of the side walls and the iron on the floor there is quite a bit of space between the shelves and the door - that is why I think I can get the vacuum in there

so nothing on the home front done today
I have been to see son and had a few things to say to staff - they did tell me I was full of attitude - I did point out if I had attitude they would soon know about it
the first bit was where you have the searches the windows are covered in that dark reflective window sheeting (like you use in cars) well someone has been peeling it so I asked for my search to be done further along to which I was asked why I wanted preferential treatment - when I told for privacy and told them why they said oh well its like it now - so it will be like it next time

then I was asked to take my coat off and hang it up - as I pointed out I dont have a coat on they told me I did (its a furry gillet) so I said coats have sleves - at which point I was told that they did not have to let me in - so my response was - the way I feel right not I dont actually care - so I was then told if you every show me attitude like that again I will show you the door - I told him I could find my own way to it - I might have bipolar social anxiety agriphobia and painful joints but as long as I have specs on I can see well enough
at that point I turned my back on him and walked in - we were scowled at all the session - it was a good session - I pointed out that my son was having his allowance - and now he had his money for the visit (I get one cup of tea as did my daughter - son had rest of 15 quid) which came out of my allowance - he said thank you - I nearly fell off the chair- at the end of the visit I did ask a lovely prison warder if I could just nip over and give Gary and hug and say hello - he said yes - Gary is my sons cell mate and has got him to go to the gym and also to help with literacy and numeracy so giving him something to do -

so that was my visit - for me I think it was handled very well - no tears - ok I might have been a bit gobby but I would not have minded going back in fact that would have been so much easier than being there - and as I pointed out I AM INNOCENT so should be treated as such

tomorrow is going to be an even more difficult day but I will have my long suffering hubby with me

so today I came home to dogs that had been fed and dinner that was on - very frugal - left over veggies as bubble and squeak with eggs

oh and today was not a no spend day - thanks son :)
tomorrow will be as DH can spend and I will let him - mind you with where we are going I cant see us spending anything

Hurrah for you, yay for son appreciating you and also I think a whole-thread hurrah for Gary :T - really good that your son has company inspiring him in the right direction instead of further in the wrong one!

    Rosa thank you
Gary is only 21 bless him
I have whizzed them off a joint email tonight - think I will give him a mention every time now - be like a mention in dispatches - poor lad

so today I had about an hours sleep and found myself doing something I should not have done at four oclock - today I had to go and face atos well whoever they are now - they are working with a document I filled in for atos late 2013 and thought they could work from there - I had asked my doctor what help she could give me and she gave me a fit not and a copy of my notes showing the severe anxiety and bipolar have been very difficult for some time now and although I am doing well on my medication am unlikely to do very well

so Dh had to take yet another day off work for me today - there is no way I could have gone to that on my own - a few truths came out in the meeting - I know he loves me truely but I do wonder why at times - he admitted due to my behaviour he has sometimes done unnecessary overtime to prolong his time out of the house - phoned my counsellor and as long as he wishes she has no problems seeing us both

now I am sure the follow two things are very true of me and now KNOWing this (just today) I am hoping I can tackle both of these things head on

I dont know how much any of you know about depression and bipolar
but I have recognised just like I eat to celebrate and to commiserate with myself (eg overeating for any emotion really) I also spend money this way
today I was so stressed and anxcious that Dh suggested we go for a coffee so we went into tkmaxx as it was the nearest place and I bought two beautiful note books one to put away for an xmas pressie and one for me - DH said to get it as I do need another one (stationery seems to be a weakness) then when we got back to home town I went in pet shop while OH went into to B and M (I dont go in there at all) I went into pets at home - I know them - Rosie met me and took me round and I spent more money on dog toys than most people spend on a months worth of dog food - oops

but when we took the car to the garage (DH went in and booked car in for mot service and exhaust rattle) the owner said OH is that H in the car and waived manically out of the window - I was on my own planet - he is a friend of a lad that lived with us on and off for years - he came out and said why was I in the car not saying hello = so went in for a cuppa cant believe I have not seen him for a year and he still remembers my name :)

so the highlight of the day I got remembered by a very very dishy mechanic who is apparently looking forward to seeing me on 20th - with the car of course

so not a very MSE day but dinner was I had some left over roast which I sliced thinly on the mandarin and so instead of one serving for two there was one serving for two and another serving for two in the freezer

so not a no spend day but a day of realisations that could make a huge difference going forward - I am so happy this evening and its been a long time since I felt like this :)

I do hope everyone who reads this is having a really good end to the month and no I am not saying I have had a break through cos its april fools tomorrow I really do believe I am

tomorrow how to make one chicken portion and one egg make a meal for three - might even make a banana loaf as I have three bananas needing to be used :)
