I'm such a slow reader, but I'm 2 pages in now and I have to say you sound remarkable. I understand how hard life in general is and although I'm sure there are situations you openly struggle with, you still get yourself up and out there! Astounding and wonderful.

I really hope the counselling can help you with some more coping techniques to help you get through tougher times.

I once knew someone who was in prison and I remember those visits well. Horrendous, but at least my visitor was very appreciative of my visits. I love that your daughter tells your son the things he needs to hear too so it's not always coming from you.

I'll catch up with the next 3 pages tomorrow hopefully. I'm off to bed shortly.

Oh and - Norfolk! I absolutely love it there. Does your friend live anywhere near Sheringham? My favourite Norfolk town!

    Hello again,

I read another page today and I really could relate to your clutter brain. I'm the same. What's helped me reduce clutter is to look at something and think "what will I use this for" (because I WANT everything as I get oddly attached). If I can't come up with a use then I think "this deserves to be used and so someone who will give it purpose should have it" and then I can easily let it go. Oh dear! How bad do I sound, but it really is a struggle for me. I also have to give myself a tiny grieving time when I let a lot go at once. Shoot me now???

Peanut butter and chocolate chunk cookies???? That sounds amazing and is now going to be in my thoughts for some time!!!! Eek!

    MT.
And others who have popped in and read thank you
I have really been struggling with trying not to spend I have two more items on eBay left to run but I am not going to bid on anything else until after Easter and I am waiting for three books from Amazon I have asked DH to lock me out of Amazon so all is well there

I have checked the bank account today and remembering that pay goes in next Thursday we have 1018.31 in the account so come Thursday if I don't spend any more we will have at least 800 which seeing as at the end of January we finished overdrawn is fantastic
Car tax is due at the end of the month six months is 275 we are going to set up a dd tonight so that we don't have to pay a lump sum and we know what comes out when so 525/12 = 43.75 much easier
So at the end of this pay month 500 will go from lloyds to nat west holiday will happen

So my target for now till Thursday is
    Do not increase bids
    Do not start a bid
    And 4/6 nsp
That is all I want to do

Next pot after dinner a rant

    Now for the rant
Went into bs today to sign new books and to discuss some financial option (fairly simple wat is best option for x amount of money from two accounts just want to consolidate)
Asked her to turn the speakers off as I was able to hear word for word what she discussed with previous customer) I was also stood further from the counter than the person next in the queue
I explained I was not willing to even ask for a balance when it could be over heard by anyone -out scuttles a manager would I lije to go to the office NO I want to be able to conduct my affairs in privacy at the counter and if that could not be accommodated by next Friday when I will go in to check I will be withdrawing my money and taking elsewhere at which point I was told making such a fuss was totally unreasonable in a room full of customers
Well I rest my case that was course broad cast to the world and I will be going to coop tomorrow to see what they have to offer
As if I wanted to discuss my financial affairs with the neighbours I can do that from my garden

    Rant over

Blimey. Did they not think to check the volume levels?

If I'd been waiting I would have gone up to the counter, told them the same thing and flounced out after you!

Rosa I am so pleased I have four accounts with them one is 10,000 that is for house improvements as they are needed - big things like boilers total redesign of living space etc - it is money I was left in my fathers will so I never ever touch it - its just there - so far Ijust havent been able to face using it - but we now have a co op bank in town and I have been thinking for a while to shift things to somewhere I would prefer to be so looks like some point over the next couple of weeks I will be setting up an account there for my nw current account then looking into their isa accounts and saving accounts

right yesterday I woke up with that feeling of dread and emptiness and just ended up in tears - went and had a bath while dh was a work - washed my hair
when I went to dry my hair it would not go right - serves me right for reading while she was cutting but she has taken out the weight from mid way down my head with a razor so not in fact taking out the weight
at all just taken out hair from where it should not be I took in a picture of cut and the colour was wrong on that one so I also took a picture of the colour I wanted - so thought all was well - colour is fantastic - also my head was sticky - I did get her to take the bleach out but my scalp is still burnt
and my tee shirt a vest type one that was worn under another top has been bleached down the back - so I have emailed the manager of the salon - I used to teach her boys so have known her for years

then I just felt really low all day burst into tears because we had no bread in the house - I am being so tight with the shopping money we are running out of things - shopping day today and we now have bread - but I dont want the toast how ridiculous

today I sent hubby shopping with a list he bought everything on the list excluding ritz crackers they were for him and he said he can go without until the next pay day
he spend 5.58 I had given him a twenty and he came home with 19.42 in change - he is terrible he NEVER checks change just shoves it in his wallet - when he got home with receipt he got the change out and found he had far too much change - thank you morries I have put all of that into the car parking money just so we have some extra in there

so today is starting much better than yesterday

apart from greyhound having a poorly tummy in the night - thank you to hubby who got up first :):) no more to be said on that one

due to having no laptop the money I should have in bank at the end of the pay month has changed slightly - I paid 50 pound more on the norfolk deposit than I had to because I was sending it in late
and my daughters vacuum stopped working yesterday - she has dogs and her new partners son was going to be visiting (he lives with his mum) so essential she vacuumed the floor so I got her dad to take her out and buy her one - I dont regret that decision as we give her brother an allowance each month and I do like to try to do for one what I do for the others - so she has a nice new vacuum that I can now borrow if mine stops working

Morning, Lovely *slides over a cuppa*

I firmly believe that some days are really designed for going back to bed and staying there until the clock swaps the days. Hugs to you for managing through - and I'm so in awe of you for (quite rightly) speaking to the manager about your hairdressing experience. You rock, lady - even with a sore scalp!

    Nora thank you
it was so hard for me and I just know that Jane will phone me but email is so much easier and no one can see the tears - its so hard having the mental issues I have stress sets off the bipolar but being so anxious and having panic attacks are a sign of stress so you can see perhaps how some days are for me - and no I dont forget my meds will about once a month and as they take time to get to a theraputic dose then they dont really end up with low levels

right I have emailed DH and asked him to get one of the hanging racks from the loft tonight I will put all the possible ebay items on it to keep it separate from my clothing - at the moment its unironed but on hangers thrown over the banister - not the best place for it

so I can finally sort my stuff from ebay and fill another charity bag or two - I would like to have done something towards that by tonight DH is going to get a rack down so if before bedtime I go up and put 5 things on the rack and if there is anything of mine in the pile on the bannister put it in the place it belongs - if there is anything not good enough for either of those - or doesnt fit and I dont think will be worth the effort to iron list and pack for ebay I will iron it and send it down to town - if I do that in the morning before coming down stairs as well it will all help
and should be done by the weekend - and from tomorrow onwards I will of course put it where it is going to be belonging not making a pile of it

I have looked on ebay and seen belts do not seem to do well at all - so they will all go to the charity shop and will be in a bag before the end of today - I will also go through the shoes and keep some ebay pile for another lot and charity the rest - shame I dont know someone with my size feet - as some are so lightly worn (a couple of pairs once for an interview or other similar occasion) right off to drink the cuppa thanks Nora - shame you didnt leave a biscuit or two

have a really good day everyone - today will be a no spend day - all my purchases from ebay have arrived as have my amazon bits I will NOT be accessing those accounts for the rest of the week - well friday I might list a few bits so will do it with hubby as he can log me in - he has changed my passwords at my request :)
