so did take purse and spent money 60 on fuel then 35 on a pair of jeans - my justification was I sorted my jeans drawer and found not a single pair fit so with over 20 pairs of socks and a pair of decent trainers that all need wearing I can now do that as I have jeans - always wear dresses or skirts
had a bit of a rant too about trying to book a holiday cottage I have been asked some really stupid questions today I give in perhaps as Stephen Fry said its NfNEmergency fund £10,000

after a fantastic counselling session yesterday really hard but very productive I get home to find - splashed all over facebook - that the girl who accepted my rings when she got engaged to my son has been seeing his best friend for over six weeks - not once in all that time has she offered the rings back (mind you tainted and full of poison now so I dont want them but son does as they were mine and freely given) she put all over face book how could she she doesnt know where to send them - she has facebook phone number and email and then of course ask my son - she also accepted very expensive gifts from us for herself and her children
:eek: um, flabbergasted?... sorry the only thing I can think of to say to that is perhaps it's best that she's already removed from your life very shortly after coming into it!
It must be hard on your son. Although perhaps there is a bright side in that he may not go back to seeing the same people when he's out and it might help with a new start?oh well I am off to meet friends and that will be such an enjoyable day
so try to keep those cards and money safely at home and dont spend the money
Hope you've had a lovely day

Rosa I had a fantastic day but took my purse
and I bought a pair of jeans - but none of mine fit and I like to wear jeans and trainers or boots for dog walking
a very lovely time although too short by far was spent with my best friends sister and her daughter and some other mad dog rescue people
we transported the dog safely
then today has been another day out (had to change jeans as the ones I got were a size too big) went to W-S-M to fetch an ebay win of a lovely pram pushchair for my friends future grandchild
as for Madam - I knew all along something wasnt right but son would not listen - I am glad that she is gone and I dont regret for one moment that the children have toys - but I should not have been told that it was fine for me to buy them for the children - I do hope they got them and they did not get put on ebay - I just have to wonderbut that is the hurt side of me
so today I finished a very inspiring book - the art of tidying by Marie Kondo (there is a thread on here somewhere about the book) now this book has been far more help to me than any other self help for depression and other mental conditions I have ever read - so will be practising what is outlined and hopefully my life will become easier and the depression lifted somewhat 0 that in turn will help the other mental problems going on
so now to sit on the sofa and perhaps get a bit of sleep not slept for two nights just due to worrying about the rescue run and the pram fetching
so after dinner (roast dinner but with venison sausages and spiced plum crumble- not all on the same plate) and then an early night I think
I have counted the money pots (we both chuck all change in them) and have counted out 125 pounds and the copper to count yet - that will go in holiday fund and I have skimmed the odd 8.70 from bank account into second account (that just rounds it to a ) as the last digit) that is my mse for todayEmergency fund £10,000

Rosa do get it tomorrow I start my second run through the book - I want to put on cards some of the sentences that I have linked with my own wellness (well getting there) and that way I might make myself a big arty poster to go in my wardrobe (read the book) as that way I can see it often but I dont want word for word I want to put it into very simple phrases get the gesso out and start working might even make a word wall instead who knows how I will do it yet - but I am feeling motivated to so something
I bought the physical book as for me (although everything is on my kindle and ipad) it was important to HAVE the book - not sure why I made that connection while on amazon but very pleased I didEmergency fund £10,000

so I finally stepped on the scales I seriously think I need to Kondo some weight - I have lost 6lb since the beginning of the year so about 2.5lb a month I need to speed this up somewhat
I have been doing some more sorting folding and tidying in my room I am saving a few things that are too small at present but just those things that I am really happy with - they are going in the back of the drawers and one of each thing (eg tops combats jeans etc) will be tried on on the first of each month to see how they are fitting weighing will be done daily and recorded until I see a pattern emerging then down to once a week
this is money saving but only if I eat less - if I exercise more then it wont be as I will wear my trainers out
so apart from tidying today I spent much of it cooking and checking the meal plans for the rest of this week
all meal plans and all food in for those meal plans
breakfast is yoghurt with fruit and oats for breakfast - fruits will be different
lunches will be jp with salad coleslaw and tuna or prawns or cheese and beans
mains
tues bubble and squeak with warmed lamb mushrooms and grilled tomatoes (or baked)
wed burger eggs mushrooms tomatoes chips (actifry)
thurswill be sausage and bacon creamy bake with hm wedges, peas and cauli
fri scampi salad and jp with coleslaw
sat will be same as thursday ( I dont like having same two days running
strange that as breakfasts and lunches are so similar
so food all under control but spending isnt
I have spoken to doctor who has told me to take extra stabaliser and she has made me an appointment for friday - but if I can manage without it I can its up to me
but today I have bought clothes and earrings - perhaps it would be good if my internet was down
I have said to hubby to change his paypal login password and to take my card and his to work so I cant access any money for online shopping then I can only spend what I have which is about 6quid
if I can have a few days without spending I will be fine - I know its linked to the bipolar and depression
it is so easy for people with mania to get into monetary difficulties - as it is for many other people
so I need to find a community of people with similar problems to get the support needed and to give the support in my own right
if anyone reads this and knows of others that are in a similar position to myself please let me know so I can go and read their diaries

ok I have a sensitivity to gluten and over the weekend had more than my system to cope with
so yesterday evening I spent very ill with stomach pains so bad it was like last stages of labour - and then well you just dont want to know but am sure you can guess
so with a totally empty system you tell me how I would have put on a pound in a day - oh well lets hope I see a downward trend
I am so pleased with myself
although I looked on ebay I did not put any further bids on and those few things I am waiting on I did not increase my bid so I am very very pleased with that - I did not go out so it was a no spend day
My new rotary washing line turned up - ok that was an expense but as from the weekend when the spike is in and its useable I will NOT be using the tumble dryer - so it will bring a long term save - I am even going to take the plug off so it will take me a little time to get it into working order if I think I have an emergency and need it - will make me think twice -
so a NSD about time after the last week
dinner tonight is left over lamb with bubble and squeak - left over veggies and potatoes with bbeans trying Sains own tonight Asd are totally acceptable so willing to give all own brands a try now
I need to go and get some bread on for OH and his sarnies
I have had a good day and I feel amazing - I feel so much better when I am able to stick to my plans
oh and the garden I am sorting out the rubbish slowly and have got rid of 5 bin bags of stuff I no longer want some for freecycle some for landfill I am affraid
and 2 bags from the clothing as well that will be either ragged charity shop or I might try my hand at ebaying a couple of the really good bits - even a quid would be better than nothing
off to read some diaries - might even get to leaving a comment or two on those I have subscribed to but as yet have not opened my mouth on
great evening everyoneEmergency fund £10,000

Do have a go with Ebay, you can upload photos straight from your phone so it's really easy and even selling a few bits for pennies builds up good feedback for when you want to sell something bigger.
Glad you are feeling better

I over slept
I came down stairs to find the purse with the money in from changing coins was on the floor open and a £20 note was chomped on buy a dog can't find some bits and NO way will I try to find it with six dogs
I realise the money I spent on jeans from my allowance was not spare money but was supposed to be for my hair next week - hubby says I can have his allowance
Had a letter from son to say a mate who was sending money into prison Has now stopped and still owes him over four grand
Then my lap top dies on me and I can't afford a new one
Somthevstressedvequalled a few tears of frustration it's like I take a couple of steps forward and about ten back
So today I am off to sort all my belts the good ones I don't want will be ebayed as will really good clothes not done it before but we all have to start somewhere
