Wooh Aaleigha, you're flying through again! It's not putting me so much to shame as making me feel motivated now so thank you.
I'm a strong believer that you do what you want to do on your birthday. Every other day we tend to put others first, so would it really be a sacrifice for your son to miss one visit? The only problem is you don't want your birthday tainted with guilt either. Decisions!!!!! Whatever you decide to do is a good choice though.

I'm sure the Toblerone cake is nice too - I do bake when I have time but don't at the minute and those are good to have as a treat in the freezer. I've never tried making one but Google may be able to help there
Lovely that you are so happy and well done for bouncing back from the mini slump - you're absolutely right, you're sorting things from the past and sorting your future too

Yes I would get the guilt - mothers guilt
sorry I have been MIA I have had a couple of days to think hard about things
oh and you know I thought I had finished my clothes - well it appears I lie to us all - in the back bedroom (seems to be full to thigh height with STUFF - but is getting sorted slowly - I found two ikea bags over flowing with clothing - all my summer trousers and some tee shirts I was sure were not in the piles I had already done - so it must have just been left over from ironing attempts (hate that job) so one out of three loads in the washer now (my washer is huge it takes a kingsized duvet) that will go on the line mostly on hangers and I will only iron as I need it - from that I got a whole bin bag for the charity shop and two items for possible ebay
I have decided that I will go to see son on my birthday - I emailed him to tell him it was my birthday and he is lucky I am going but its the date that came up - I also told him its a five week month so he will have to be more careful with the money as he wont be getting any extra - he did say that sometimes they are allowed to take things into the visiting room so I expected him to ask if he could take my card to give me in person - not a lot to ask of him
I think I said last sunday I went to meet someone off here - well I text her today to see if she wanted knitting machines from my loft - they were offered to me and I could not say no - see where the hoarding came from - I am just worried as she has tendencies that I am just moving the problem on - but she does say she has other homes for them - and I just have to believe that - I am sure its true
I am feeling ok but not HAPPY
right on with the reading of diaries and popping in to say hello then I am off to fold clothesI have not run out of storage yet

major events of the last week
I was starting on the back bedroom and found TWO overflowing large ikea bags and one trug full of clothing - now when I was putting away I did think I was missing some summer trousers - and about three months ago I could not understand why I did not have many pairs of knickers so went a bought about 12 pairs - well they were in the bags too - I do have problems with my memory since having bilateral pulmonary emboli and well oxygenated blood not reaching my brain - but honestly how come I put them in there and didnt find them
all of that has been washed much of it folded and put away or in charity bag
I went shopping and we spent 169 one a big shop one week before payday so that is two big shops this month - I thought I was shopping for four weeks not five
and in there was a top and a pair of trousers and two pairs of week jeans for hubby - so that was 40 quid we didnt need to spend
and when I was at the till DH rushed off for something and came back kissed me and gave be two bunches of lilies my favourite flowerso a not very mse day today at all
but on a good note I have made 8 jars of blackberry jelly
three jars of concentrated mint sauce
and will be making some fudge later on - that is for the college and the student hairdressers have sent me an invite to the charity day where they do a raffle and sell cakes etc so I thought I would just do some fudge in small bags for them to sell for 50p a time
just a quick moan about mil - DH has had to sharpen her lawn mower and when he got there to drop it off he is now mowing her lawn
she has also given him an advert from the paper and asked him to order some plants for her - but she has to post the order you cant do it on line so why am I getting that to do and to post it and most likely pay for it - oh well cant do anything about itEmergency fund £10,000
