yes I am jumping for joy - but in the great scheme of things its not been difficult I have had no electricity all day so no internet :)
there are some advantages to not being able to leave the house some days
I spent most of the day in bed after taking a sleeping tablet when electric went off I will take another tonight and hopefully I will sleep - I need the manic ness to ebb

so tomorrow I will wake having had a good nights sleep I will get up and have a bath then pop the washing on - over the weekend Dh wants to go to the oak shop and get a small set of draws to replace a bit of really not good furniture

so off to watch master chef - I am sure I cook that well :)

Just caught up on your diary - sorry I've been MIA! It sounds like you've been making great progress all round (okay maybe not the dog treats but I'm sure the furries appreciated it!) And well done for sticking up for yourself when you visited your son! I expect the wardens (is that the right word?) treat everyone the same and don't actually account for the fact you're only a visitor! Hope you had a good night sleep!
    Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
    Current debt - £5,435.00
Total paid off - £10,165.89 (65% paid off)

    Hi Twiglet
I think some do tend to treat everyone the same - ie if you are visiting you must have done something wrong or you would not know that person
and to be honest I am not sure if I do myself any favours - I have platinum blond hair which is an inverted bob with very long sides and right up onto the occipital bone so quite edgy I think have a purple layer and into the very short back and a pink layer under the platinum blond and I wear jeans or a shortish black skirt with a top that looks like a jacket - and either purple doc martens with bright green laces or irregular choice shoes - so I do not look like many people my age

Do you rememeber ab fab - well all my daughters friends used to think our house was like that - there was her sat at table doing homework and there was her wayward mother dont smoke now but did

today I have done nothing - a difficult night but I eventually slept - I am hoping over the next few nights the meds will help me get back into good sleep patterns
another nsd today so very pleased with that

have done surveys from 5 sites and checked all the free post code lottery options just need the 9pm one to come around

for the next four days I have dh home with me
I am going to a car boot sale on Sunday I want to see what sort of things people actually have and pick out three three stalls each to go back to on the second go around just to see if they appear to be selling and to keep an eye on what people are buying just to see if it is worth us doing one - we need to assess we have the right sort of stuff to warrent going

    so a weekend of research

Nora I actually think it is my way of making myself far less approachable
If I didnt get it done at college I could not afford to have it done
Restyle bleached regrowth toner and five pinks and purples was 29 now still an expense I could go without but I don't smoke or drink or hardly go out so I have it done I use my allowance for it

So it's after two and I am in a manic phase I really need to be up and doing but can't as the dogs could bark so went down stairs and made hot chocolate
Today we spent money however it was well spent I bought a touch top bin for the larder to keep all the dog treats in
Now the embarrassing thing here is they do not fit in a 40ltr bin we have a box on top and that does not include the training treats
I bought another for a bin as my saluki girly has worked out how to open the other one to bin raid
We are great recyclers and I have a green cone to take all food waste including bones and cooked food and a compost bin so we get very little rubbish so why she wants it I don't know

Total spends two bins the result is a very tidy larder floor and shelves so to me a very worth while spend
Tomorrow I must go somewhere I am going stir crazy as DH is home I can go out might do the market North of stow on the wold and take the little dogs
Who knows but it's already tomorrow really
If we go I will get meat veg and eggs but we need them so would get anyway

    Happy Easter every one
Eggs and choc bunnies on the stand in the corner

    Today's spends will be milk
    I will be making bread
And eating from the freezer - yes I will cook it first

So I need to record this
Every morning before I leave my bedroom I will sort at least 10 things piles will be ebay cs repurpose or bin and put away the difference will be to do something with the pikes not putting it back where I got it from
To day I have done 12 items
My brain is very whizzy I can't sleep but am tired sleeping medication is doing nothing
But this cycle will end and it will be easier to focus

“….hoarding and saving symptoms are part of a discrete clinical syndrome. The core symptoms are urges to save, difficulty discarding, and excessive acquisition, but the syndrome also includes indecisiveness, perfectionism, procrastination, difficulty organizing tasks, and avoidance. In addition, many compulsive hoarders are slow in completing tasks; frequently late for appointments; and display circumstantial, overinclusive language.” Studies Beyond the Mess

now this seems to describe me except for frequently late for appointments - I cannot abide tardiness - think that come from being brought up in a forces family

today I sorted another 10 things from the bedroom before coming down stairs - found a pair of trousers for the summer I had forgotten about

went to a carboot sale today just to suss out the costs and the sort of stuff people try to sell - well apologies in advance to those of you who have done car booting - but I could not believe the carp that people were selling (not all of them but some) it was dirty never seen a duster let alone soapy water - and things I would be embaressed to put in the bin (not really) so I am keeping to my sorting criteria of
keep ebay cs repurpose or bin

today I have cooked 4 rhubarb crumbles with rhubarb from cupboard and all the rest in stock
done three lots of washing - 2 with the washing balls
and dog stuff with bio powder

now cooking Lamb roast dinner I bought a leg of lamb - yes an extravagance but will feed us two meals and mother in law two meals then the rest will be sliced and frozen for future roast dinners
I am now reading a blog that has caught my attention
and just chilling on the sofa with the dogs
another £9.71 slid into the nat west account for the holiday fund (must keep a record of how much in my siggy off to calculate
