The only thing i've managed to do today is order pizza :o which should be here for about 5ish :D

I've not had pizza in ages and really haven't had any appetite for the past few weeks so yes i know its unhealthy but i know left to my own devices i just wouldn't eat anything so i'm kind of being proactive right? :p Plus i thought the odd treat now and then never hurt anyone.

  • Very proactive, yes. I wish melly could join you! xxxx

Today is officially treat day! (she says, having just gromfled* two delicious and enormous chocolate thingies from her desk. And congratulated self that they were still in there, 10 days after acquiring them as freebies at a trade fair! :D)

*this is a family word. Wondering a) does anyone else use it, and b) should it be spelt as pronounced - gromfulled.
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Just had to post this! Made me roar!

    Gromfle.
I don't use it, but I would say it's 'to gromfle' in a similar form to 'to rifle' or 'to stifle'.
So the past participle would be 'gromfled'.

Is it a portmanteau word combining grab and nom? That would fit!

MessedUp, my favourite pizza is from Waitrose and it's their fire-roasted vegetable one. It's gorgeous! And full of the most delicious roasted vegetables that go a long way to providing my five-a-day! :D

Ooh MessedUp! they're desperate for an X you-know-where!

I decided to do something useful with my time, so popped in a load of washing, emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, made a bird feeder ball from leftover fat and nuts, and samosa'd my old carrier bags (its 5p a bag in Scotland). Then I ate chocolate cake.

Nothing wrong with ordering pizza MU. I love takeaway pizza. My favourite is the Spanish sizzler from Dominos, although Pizza Hut have the better sides.

OH forgot to go to a funeral today. I knew he'd struggle when I wasn't acting like his parent/housekeeper anymore but I didn't realise he'd be this bad!

Need a new name for him. Can't keep calling him OH, but really don't like ex.

    Parent just made me laugh.
Went to collect Gitdog after a day of parental doggy day care, to be told he's been as good as gold. Somewhat surprised, I enquire whether he's been asleep all day.
To be told, "Oh no, he's played tug of war with my tights, clanked everything that moves and several things that don't, run off with the logs, had his nose in the coal scuttle, in fact had his nose into everything he shouldn't. But he has honestly been really good.........for him."
    That's my boy. :D

Is it pancake day by any chance then? If it is, it's too late, I'm an egg free zone.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
