Funny you should say that! I was looking at them but wasn't sure as I get bored easily! :rotfl:0 -
I had to chuckle this end. Mr JM didn't believe me at first when I said I'd ordered a colouring book. Once he saw it he was TOTALLY won over (as was I - it was far better quality, and more pages, than I expected!)
It was this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1782434437?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I've just realised why they'll have popped up in recommended things. DH ordered some ages ago, for him and his Mam! I don't know if his Mam ever used them, but I know his are in the storage pouffe in the living room....I'll have to dig them out!
I was looking at the one for insomnia for my Mam as she's hardly sleeping at all. But it's not in stock until the end of May, and also her eyes aren't too good either, so it might be abit intricate for her?0 -

Wedding? What wedding? Is there to be wedding cake in the duvet tent? Can I buy a big hat? Please!Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -
Hahahahaha! Aw, sorry to disappoint you Solar, it is a very hypothetical wedding. Perhaps one day, I don;t rule it out!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

JM, it is all your fault that instead of adding the colouring book to my wish list, I 'accidentally' bought it on 1-click.
If I am very brave in the next few weeks, I should take litlewing swimming. She can't swim yet and would love to go...but that means fat me in a swimming costume (if it hasn't disintegrated).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Whitewing, don't let your swimsuit ruin your experience. As someone who spent a lot of her teenage years in a swimsuit, I can tell you that nobody is looking - they're all too busy worrying about how they look in their suits. Hope littlewing enjoys it.
So, I know you're dying to know about my meal. It cost £90 altogether what with train fares and the taxi (they chose a restaurant 30 minutes walk from the centre of town) and DH wasn't amused because they split the bill between the table and everyone else had starters and bottles of wine. They had a limited menu so there was only one thing on the whole menu I could eat so a bit rubbish really and DH was looking forward to pudding and didn't get any as they served birthday cake. It was nice to see my friend but the whole thing was a bit child centred with everyone talking about how great it is to be a parent and me thanking my lucky stars that I'm not because at least I have more than one topic of conversation. (I have no objection to people talking about their kids and I do like hearing about them but not all the time - everytime I tried to change the subject, they went back almost immediately to how being a parent changed their lives and makes everything else shallow and crap).
Maybe I need new friends.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Sounds like perhaps not the best night code
I hate splitting bills with people as i usually have a set budget and don;t tend to buy drinks etc.
Was the conversation all child centric? I can understand why that might not exactly be the best or most inclusive of conversations.
Not saying you need new friends, but it never hurts to get to know people who you might have more currently in common with? Are there any interests you and OH share that could open up avenues of meeting more like minded people? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
